Now the old opener runs like new again. If your worm gear isnt worn out, you dont need to dismount the motor. Ive had a few openers wear out and each time it was the top bearing under the chain sprocket. It is much faster and easier to just replace this whole vertical shaft assembly than to replace individual gears and bearings your old shaft. The price difference isnt worth the hassle.

It works as expected and was very easy to install, took under 30 mins. It arrived quickly as well.

Worked as described

Just needed the main sprocket and not the worm drive. All parts there and fit just right. Hint: be sure to watch a couple YouTube installations shorts, the hints where very useful...

Great this is a complete kit, saved me from buying a whole new system.
