> 24 hourI bought these to just control a small lamp I have. My intention was to control them through HomeKit and was fairly disappointed. The initial setup wasnt that bad at all. However, once I started having connectivity/no response issues, trying to reset and setup again was such a pain and took multiple reset cycles and maybe 30 min. I found that if you manually unplug the device and plug it back in that it will magically start working super well... for a day or two. After a day or two of great performance, it completely goes unresponsive. In my experience, it doesnt degrade over that time and only responds sometimes, it just at some point decides to stop working completely. Its no more than 15 feet away from my WiFi source and I have changed my 2.4 network channel multiple times trying to find *anything* that will convince it to stay connected. I have tried both plugs and troubleshot both only to end in the same predictable result. I cannot guarantee that it will give you this much trouble if you decide to purchase this product, but do recommend possibly shopping around. I feel like this is one of the cases that you get what you pay for. Ill likely be trying out other slightly more expensive options and test my luck there. If I do land on something that performs well, I will try to remember to come back and update this review.

> 24 hourI love the ability to control this from my phone. I set mine up in about 10 minutes (FYI - follow the prompts) and was able to use this in my living room in a spot that is behind my couch. I would normally have to move that beast to change the times. The fact that i can do that without moving the couch is awesome. I see the outdoor unit coming in the future. Simple to use and integrate. I may have to swap more of these out in my house especially for Christmas time

> 24 hourI have several smart bulbs, but wanted to give plugs a try for other things — like holiday lights, etc … They work great. Setup via HomeKit was seamless. Solid addition to our evolving smart home.

> 24 hourI have about 3-4 brands of smart outlets and this is the only one that trips my GCFI outlet (inside a powered shed). When triggered via HomeKit it immediately trips the GCFI circuit whether a load is plugged into it or not. Works get on non-GCFI outlets though.

> 24 hourAn easy to use, inexpensive way to get started with HomeKit. This little smart plug is easy to set up on iOS: Launch the Home app, click the +, choose Add Accessory and scan the barcode. Ensure the smart plug is plugged in and it should show up, ready to give it a name and icon and start turning your item on and off. I purchased the two pack to control a lamp in my office and one in my wifes sewing room. Once it is set up in the Home app, you can use Siri to control it or create Apple Shortcuts for more advance automation. I named mine Office Lamp, and I can just use my watch or phone and say turn on my office lamp, etc. You can do a lot more with automations and shortcuts. I would recommend these to someone getting into home automation. I liked these so much I ordered another 2-pack.

> 24 hourDon’t buy. I’ve had them two months and gave up on them. Neither plugs stay connected even though it is in the same room as the router. I no longer use them because it was almost a daily reset to get them to stay connected and work. The firmware was up to date and close the the router. None of my other smart devices have problems. It would be nice if I could return it and get my money back.

> 24 hourThese things worked GREAT! They have been really solid, and I love the additional button on them for manual control (it essentially acts like an on/off switch so you dont HAVE to use HomeKit / Siri / Automations to use them. I can appreciate when smart home devices dont get in the way of doing things. They should only make things easier, and thats exactly what these switches do! If you really truly only need one controllable outlet, then these are a great value and truly reliable. Having said that, Meross offers a similar product for only a few dollars more that gives you two independently controllable outlets in one, and when I saw those, I bought a bunch of them.

> 24 hourI was looking for a compatible Apple HomeKit plug that I could use for my home office connectivity. I have a Work From Home router that connects back to my corporate network with wireless connectivity. I didnt want the WFH router to be available during non-working hours. I purchased a two pack of the Meross plugs and was surprised with how simple it was. I was able to add the plug through the HomeKit app without a 3rd part app download. I didnt have big challenges with the 2.4/5GHz interoperability you sometimes see with smart plugs. Many times this comes from your device being on the 5GHz and the HomeKit device not honoring because of 2.4GHz use only. Its been connected now for about 4 weeks with no issues. Ive lost power in the house once and the device came back to HomeKit when power was restored. I use automation to turn off and on the connected device during work hours.

> 24 hourI have a HomePod and even bought a 2.4 router just for this and it still doesn’t work perfectly. But works well in the Meross app.
