> 3 dayIt easy easy to install, and works great with Home. Have my lamp plugged in to it and can leave my light on in the living room until I get to my bedroom and then I can turn off the lamp

Greater than one weekI have all apple devices, so I wanted something that I could set up for my room a/c unit and a couple of other devices. This thing is crazy easy to set up. Scan the QR code in HomeKit, and youre good to go. It takes a bit of time for the thing to sync up right, but once it does, youre good. Ive had this going for quite a while now, and theyre working perfectly.

> 3 dayI have six of these now, and every week theres one I have to go hunt down, unplug, and replug because its crashed. This is the opposite of convenience. Also, as soon as you get them, they want a software update, for which you have to go get their app to apply and make an account and all that. Bleah. On the positive side, they show up right away in HomeKit and work without the 3rd part app just fine as long as they havent crashed.

> 3 dayThese were very difficult to connect to the app, sometimes they were detected, sometimes not. The app also didnt seem secure, it didnt mask my password and saved to my typing suggestions which was a big red flag. The app also left much to be desired.

> 3 dayI’ve been using these for about 3 months now to control my exterior patio lights. They started out great with easy setup and fast connection via HomeKit. They stayed connected well until the temperatures here in Minnesota started dropping below freezing. To be fair, the description does say these are only rated for use above 32F… but I have multiple other smart accessories (plugs, bulbs, doorbell, cameras, etc) from more well known brands that have had the same (or worse) exposure to the cold and are still operating just fine. Additionally, updating these plugs is kinda wonky and buggy in my experience.

> 3 dayLike other reviewers, I was extremely disappointed in this products inability to connect to HomeKit. After all, this is one of the few smart plugs to support HomeKit so youd think theyd make sure it worked. To be fair, this is the second batch of these plugs I purchased. I had no problems adding the first batch to HomeKit. Everything worked correctly. However, that was a while back and iOS has been updated and the outlets have had several firmware upgrades since then. My guess is that some incompatibility now exists that hasnt been addressed. The crazy part is, in order to upgrade the firmware, the plug first needs to be added to HomeKit! So if theres a bug in the firmware preventing the connection, then it appears there is no way to update the firmware to resolve it. A very poorly thought out design. What happens when trying to add it to HomeKit is that you first scan the code, the phone connects to the outlet, some information apparently gets updated because the plug reboots, but then things stop. I believe the outlet isnt updating correctly because you can see it doesnt join the home WiFi network. After the update, it still shows its setup network and the led is still blinking green and amber. Whatever is or isnt happening, I must have tried 15 times with two outlets and never got either of them to connect. I reset them, made sure my 5ghz network was turned off, rebooted the phone, tried a different device, disabled HomeKit on the router, etc. Thats a lot of troubleshooting for something that should work out-of-the-box. Finally, I reached out to support and have yet to hear anything back. Support appears to be by email only which means a bunch of back and forth telling me to do things Ive already tried. Its not worth the hassle. These are being returned.
