> 24 hourLove the size and performance of this hub. Works great to hook up my printer and computer dock. Bought a second one to hook up two engraving machines to my computers. They work well.

> 24 hour.. it seems like Netgear has traded quality/design with TP-Link. This thing works fine as a switch (the point), but I dont know why they went to this dumb white pretty design, away from what TP-Links switches look like now (Netgears old, plain, square, functional design). I bought some of these for my clients who specifically want something like this, where it has the activity indicator on the opposite side of switch from the RJ-45.

> 24 hourI originally had a Cisco / Linksys Small Business switch in its place, but it doesnt support Jumbo Frames. My home network has numerous devices which support Jumbo Frames and using two of these increased my traffic with a noticeable difference. Excellent product for the price.

> 24 hourReplaced a pair of 8 port Linksys switches with a pair of netgear switches. They seem to be working fine; I would recommend them.

> 24 hourAt least splitting out a Mac network this is as simple and as good as it gets - literally plug and play. No discernible network lag no matter how slow the slowest connected device. Appears to appropriately sense and set speed for each connected device. FYI this replaced the slightly higher priced Pro product which mysteriously died after only two year of continuous use (although worked fine during that period).

> 24 hourThis is an Ethernet switch, not a WiFi router, and it works great as a switch. It doesnt, and isnt supposed to have, WiFi and I didnt need Tech Support to install and use it. (Amazon should delete those review categories for this device.) Wish Id gotten one of these a few years ago -- it solved an intermittent problem Id had with a device using WiFi that cleared up when I wired it to this switch.

> 24 hourGood switch. Works great, but... if you want to use it with a mac, a recently bought mac (intel based), youll need the version 3 of this. Not v2 or v1. I learned it from the hard way. Bought a v2 on october and used with my windows based computers with gigabit speed. But recently, bought a macbook pro and it only sees a 100baseTX on the switch. Netgear upgraded it to v3 to avoid this issue with mac owners.

> 24 hourI installed two of these switches to expand my home network, using two of the ports on my Apple router. It was extremely simple. I hooked up various devices (DirectTV DVR, Apple TV, Vizio Smart TV, Vizeo Media Streamer, DVD player, etc.) and everything worked seamlessly. Have had them in place for several months now with no problems whatsoever. They look good.
