Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, 3 oz. Tube

When tuning up my F150, I used these on the new coil packs. Stuff works great and helps ensure good contact for consistent spark.

Dielectric grease tube is as big as a tube of toothpaste. If you have a lot of spark plug/lightbulb work this is an incredible value to you.

One of those items that one should have in every shop.

I was about to change out my spark plugs in my 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS 2WD and needed this product to ensure that the electric connection stays as strong as possible for a longer period then if you dont use this on your spark plug / ignition coils down on the bottom. This Di Electical Grease really helps keep dirt, water, and oils from entering into the spark plugs and causing you with more engine repairs in the future!! Great product highly recommended!

Got this to lubricate wire for Mechanical Keyboard stabilizers (space bar, left shift, enter, backspace) and it works like a charm. So far the small tube of it has gotten me though 3 keyboards, and I should have enough for 1 or 2 more. Only usable for the wire itself though, not suitable for points where plastic touches plastic in the stabilizer.

I was having trouble getting all the lights to work on my trailer which has a 4-pin connector. After applying this product on both connectors and inserting and removing the connector a few times, things started to work properly again. This also made making the connection and removal so much easier. The reason I tried this, is because it was clear that the connector was not making a good connection anymore as different lights would work after removing and reinserting. Wish I would used this sooner as just attaching and removing the connection was made so much easier.

Just wanted to mention the female threaded skirt of the tubes plastic cap broke completely off early on, so theres no way to reseal the tube after each use. Will have to find another cap somewhere. No problems with the grease itself - its the good stuff.

As always, Permatex dielectric grease is the best..

My main use for this was for the contact points on the 7-pin connector for my trailer. It also gets used occasionally for other electric contact points like battery terminals and bulbs and such. And since its Permatex it does what its made for.
