> 3 dayWhen used correctly, this product will prevent water and other debris from reaching the terminal end of your spark plug. The product should be applied around the insulator portion of the plug and not reach deep inside the boot where the terminal end is. A dielectric is an electrical insulator, it does not promote an electrical connection but actually serves to prevent one. The purpose of the grease is to not allow water and other materials from seeping up toward the terminal end. I apply the grease around the insulator of the plug, then hand tighten the plug into the head. Tighten with a wrench as per your torque requirements (or just a little past snugged up) and press the boot onto the plug. The grease should form a barrier around the plug insulator, preventing stuff from working its was up the plug and from ultimately fouling the terminal end.

> 3 dayThis is a good grease. It goes on easy , spreads nice and is in a good sized tube for easy handling and tight spaces. This should keep the moisture from corroding all my marine connections.

> 3 dayUsed it when changing spark plugs and top-of-spark -plug ignition coils on MB-350.. Perfect. The little tube will last probably another two or three changes..good value.

> 3 dayDo you have a Toyota Tacoma, and are you looking to replace your spark plugs? Buy this, it will keep your connections water / debris resistant and is cheap enough for peace of mind.

> 3 dayAs a mechanic I constantly battle vehicle electric wire harness problems, most of the problems are in the wire harness electrical plug connections making bad contact, corroded , moisture getting inside (mostly on motorcycles and ATVs). I unplug the harness connectors apply di electric grease and plug back in and I know I will never have an electrical harness problem, the wire harness plugs on motorcycles and ATVs are open up to the rain and mud more so than cars and this protects it so you will never have problems. I had my pickup with the air bag fault light on, it was the passenger seat connector plug not making contact and di electric grease corrected it. Its my secret weapon for being an electrical wizard on vehicles

> 3 dayYet again Permatex makes a fantastic product. I used this along side the Permatex anti-seize lube during my spark plug install on a 07 Mazda 3. Dielectric grease is used for protection over electrical connections in your vehicle. This stuff is magic! I applied it on the spark plug boot to protect it from the elements, salt, dirt and corrosion. Per their website: Extends the life of bulb sockets. Prevents voltage leakage around any electrical connection. Also prevents spark plugs from fusing to boots. Required for modern high energy ignition systems. Dont hesitate to put this in your tool box and make it part of your routine maintenance. This 3oz tube will go a long long ways and well worth the cost to know its protecting the critical components of my car.

> 3 dayThis worked perfectly for lubing the stabilizers in my keyboard. Worked as intended and will last me a lifetime

> 3 dayFor lubing metal components of mechanical keyboard stabilizers, theres nothing better or more cost effective. The metal bar fits right in as well, so its easy to use and eliminates most friction and sound.

> 3 dayIf youre a motorhead you just have to do it right. I use this on any watertight electrical connections under the hood of todays new cars. This is especially important if you are testing electrical connections that have to be un-plugged and reconnected. It also keeps the connections from becoming dirty and corroded. This works great on the inside of the spark plug boots to make removal easier without destroying the wire. I have found many uses and I think you will too.

> 3 dayin my 08 tahoe, i changed plug and wires recently, i used Tune up Grease both inside of the wire boots and on the porcelain section of the plugs. I installed a set of iridium plugs and a set of ferrite wires in my 08 tahoe, the wires came with a tiny packet of tune up grease but this never seems like enough to me (not that i apply a lot, keep it simple.) the average fuel economy on the dash instant read computed had been stalled at 13.9 MPG for a very long time, this is a composite of in town and highway driving. I changed the plugs and wires with the help of this tune up grease and reset the average MPG, within 10 days my average is up to 14.8. I did NOTHING to the vehicle other than install wires and the plugs. This grease helps ensure a good, insulated connection and is a must for a little job like this which can make a difference in your mileage. this is a big tube and will last you a lifetime.
