Dielectric grease is used to ensure electrical connections are corrosion free and have a good electron transfer. I keep this on hand for all my car batteries or any battery that might corroded over time, such as a remote control. This size was an excellent value! Save yourself frustration trying to diagnose a battery issue by using this. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I bought this for my light bulbs. Most of there new LED bulbs from Asia are advertised as E26/E27. In the US the standard socket takes E26 bulbs. The E27 is one millimeter wider. It is not too big to fit but sometimes the bulbs will be quite tight. It makes it hard to remove. I put a little bit of this Dielectric Grease on the threads and the bulbs screw in and out with no problem. Perfect.

This is a nice big Tube of die-electric grease. This is a must have for spark plugs and boots. Keeps the spark from arcing out against engine block. Not to mention itll make removal of the spark plug boots easy next time you have to do any maintenance last on.

Used this on a stubborn electrical connection for golf cart charger, seemed to work well.

After enough mechanical experience, Ive gotten to the point in my life where Ive learned to clean any electrical connector I disconnect, and smear on a thin layer of dielectric grease. Like any dielectric grease, this is an insulator - it doesnt improve conductivity, but it keeps out moisture and air that leads to corrosion and weird electric problems down the road. As dielectric grease goes, this appears to be the same as any other brand. I can verify that it is greasy, and considering that nothing has shorted out, it appears to be dielectric. Ill update this review if the grease dries out over time, but I doubt itll happen. The cap did break, which was annoying, but I mitigated that by keeping it in a zip lock bag in my tool chest.

I needed silicone bulb grease but for some reason they only sell it in tiny bottles. This is the exact same stuff just in a much bigger tube and labeled tune up grease. Great amount for the price too. 5/5 will definitely buy again.
