Not everyone knows what dielectric grease is, but look it up, youll be surprised at how much it will save the tools that it applies to. Permatex is a company with super people and products, and if someone comes out with a product thats better than theirs, they buy the company, and add their products to their line.

Yet again Permatex makes a fantastic product. I used this along side the Permatex anti-seize lube during my spark plug install on a 07 Mazda 3. Dielectric grease is used for protection over electrical connections in your vehicle. This stuff is magic! I applied it on the spark plug boot to protect it from the elements, salt, dirt and corrosion. Per their website: Extends the life of bulb sockets. Prevents voltage leakage around any electrical connection. Also prevents spark plugs from fusing to boots. Required for modern high energy ignition systems. Dont hesitate to put this in your tool box and make it part of your routine maintenance. This 3oz tube will go a long long ways and well worth the cost to know its protecting the critical components of my car.

It did what it says

This is a nice big Tube of die-electric grease. This is a must have for spark plugs and boots. Keeps the spark from arcing out against engine block. Not to mention itll make removal of the spark plug boots easy next time you have to do any maintenance last on.

The actual grease was easy to apply and well, its grease. The packaging was a bit frustrating but not as much as those coin batteries that you have to cut yourself about 3 times before opening it. I was in a hurry and poked it with a screwdriver which punched a hole in the tube. I just used the hole I made to get the grease out. It works and my car started right up after.

Another item I was able to find on Amazon at a reasonable price rather than buying it locally. Time always tends to save us money, and I would buy this again off of Amazon instead of at my local auto store.
