16-11-2024Was having problems with my cctv system and this stuff did the trick. It seems that no mater how much tape or shrink tube you put on the connections outside, you will still find water in them over time. With this stuff I was able to clean the BNC connectors and apply a small amount before reconnecting to keep out any moisture. Ever since I started using the dielectric I have had no issues with signal quality or power problems due to corrosion. Well be buying more when I run out and I would highly recommend using this on any outdoor connection.

> 3 dayI do a lot of my own auto repairs and normally pick up grease for bulbs, brakes, etc., in the little packets near the checkout. I finally decided to just get some tubes of the ones I use most often. I dont normally use dialectic grease, but a friend at work recommended it for a spark plug change I was planning on one of my vehicles. So, instead of just getting the small packets, I went this way as planned. I have always like the Permatex brand and did not hesitate to go that route with this purchase as well. Easy to dispense and store when done. Definitely can recommend this product and plan to use it more often on electrical connections now that I have a larger tube. I also purchased a couple of tubes of their brake grease and its also a very good product. In my mind you cant go wrong with Permatex products. Top shelf stuff.

> 3 dayFirst off let me tell you, if you buy this for switch lubbing on mechanical keyboards, you have a lifetime supply, Id say for this purpose, you get a lot for the money , I lubed a 60% Red switches keyboard, the RK61 specifically, keep in mind its not hotswappable, I still lubed the stabs and switch sides , it feels completely like a different keyboard. So smooth! It was my first time lubing , the grease is pretty much odorless , and if you smell a tiny bit of it, its not a bad smell, very neutral indeed. Great product! I totally expected the tube to be so much smaller though lol :)

> 3 dayDielectric grease tube is as big as a tube of toothpaste. If you have a lot of spark plug/lightbulb work this is an incredible value to you.

> 3 dayYes, its a super small tube, I have a giant one I use most of the time. However I had a need to change the spark plugs on an engine in a confined space in a boat and rather than make a mess or have to deal with large tubes it was much easier to have this small tube that easily fit in my pocket. This drastically decreased the likelihood of setting it down somewhere I would kneel/stand/sit/lay on it, or putting it somewhere it would leave a mess I would have to clean up, or laying it somewhere I would end up knocking it into the bilge so I will have to contort myself to retrieve it. One plus over the regular large tube I use is that it is easy to direct exactly where I want it n the spark plug boot rather than just squeezing it in the end and hoping it goes where I want it to. Otherwise its the same Permatex Dielectric grease that I have used for years on contracts, in bulb sockets and on spark plug boots which works perfectly. If you only rarely have a need for doing this type of mechanical work I could see this being the only tube you have, and it would be easier to story in a small toolbox, otherwise it might make more sense to just buy a larger one. The 3 ounce tube

Greater than one weekI love my grease. Clear dielectric grease. This grease is not like the 4 star grease you would get from the other guys. This is not your fathers grease. No, this is the high tech ultra-modern grease. It spreads and adheres to everything it touches, including your clothes, kids, dog, etc, -like only the finest grease can. I love my grease. --excuse the sarcasm. Its early. I just got started on my first cup of coffee. So,I am struggling to come with enough words for a legitimate review of..... a tube of grease. Have a nice day :)
