Super easy set up and consistent. First time filling, or filling any time after it’s run totally empty requires a “primer.” Consistent, small feedings throughout the day keep my cat from wolfing down food and then being sick/overeating.

Got this because I was going out of town. I had someone to stop by for most days except for 2 in the middle of the trip. Afterwards I realized I could have a used this the whole time and saved some cash. Anyways great for the money. Worth it. East to setup.

The instructions to set it up are difficult to follow and need more detail about the process. It took many attempts to get it set but now it is working well.

I bought this for when my wife left me and I needed a way to fill in for feed time when I am at work... Sadly, using flat kibble that is exactly the size of what it represents on the unit, it appears to be too big for it. The unit will crush and break the food, and distribute a very uneven amount of food from what I have experienced. Instead of it filling up the bowl, it will get stuck crushing the food and only dispense a quarter of what I want it to, leaving me unsure if my dogs are getting fed or not. Also, not too handy if you have more then one dog... Unfortunately for my 3 dogs, I have one that will be a food hog and would eat the other dogs food if no ones there to help them

Need to add to instructions how much a portion size its. Like how many portions equal a cup of cat food. Thru trial and error I have it just right now and it is working wonderfully.

The feeder is working well for us so far! Easy to program, holds a good amount of food, removable bowls which makes them easy to clean. Allows me to go away for the weekend without worrying about the kitties. My only complaint is I’m having trouble figuring out how to dispense a one-time serving. No big deal, still very happy with the feeder.

This product has been so amazing with training a puppy. our little boy knows when it’s time to eat and with the portion size he’s definitely growing so much. the voice message that it plays when he is eating is the cutest feature ever. he loves to hear it when his dad is on the navy boat and doesn’t see him for days at a time.

Works great for feeding my cat when i travel.

This was easy to setup and program if you follow the directions. My cat was a little *alarmed* by the noises at first, but now she comes jogging when she hears she’s gotten a new feeding. This helps me so much, because I have an irregular sleep schedule. So now she gets fed on time every day. This has also helped her to eat less. I have 5 feedings scheduled, and she gets one portion for feeding. Before, I used to feed her twice a day, and she would scarf most of it down right away. Now she always has food in her bowl, and she just eats a little at a time. I think this is because it’s made feeding less of an “event.” Anyway, it works consistently & well. Fyi: 3 portions equal about 1/4 cup of dry food.

Disclaimer: This doesn’t connect to WiFi, and that’s a good thing. NEVER connect random gizmos to your WiFi. It’s verified spyware, and you should avoid products that do it. Design makes sense, you fill it with food, set the clock, set the timer, set the portions for a given feeding. Up to 6 feedings. Theres a wheel at the bottom of the food silo with a small square cutout that lines up with the chute towards the bowl. One portion is one full rotation of the wheel at a set speed. I measured that 6 portions is a half cup of Purina Indoor Cat Chow. You’re gonna need to test it for yourself and go with what your vet recommends. It’s impossible to stick a paw in the chute for food, so that’s a win. Never manually dispense food, you’re just going to teach your cat how to do it. If they do, then tape off the button. Speaker is quiet, but don’t fool yourself. It’s not for the cat, it’s to make yourself feel better for automating feeding your cat. Embrace it. 1. Works like it should 2. Simple design 3.
