Needs to have a better UI, sometimes the food doesn’t spit out all the way into the bowl and sits on the little ramp the food comes out of. Other than these 2 things this is a great product

With the directions I was able to set it up pretty easily. Only problem I had was a raccoon ran off with it within the first week of having it. Never found it. If you have it outside I would highly suggest to secure it.

We bought this because our cats are insane when they’re hungry. We were hoping this would be a slam dunk but for three days in a row, our cats have figured out how to open the storage space by tipping it over. I’ve even put it against the wall and our cat still finds a way to move it and tip it. Unfortunately the storage container comes apart easily as you can see.

I love this. Bought to feed our outdoor cat while on vacation but we now use all the time. Prevents us from over feeding him. Also with the controlled portion and time choices it allows us to just give him enough to prevent it from getting ants or other varmits. It holds a lot, we only have to fill it about every 10 days, Plus you can record your voice to play before food dispenses.

3/4/2023 - I am updating my review as the customer service reached out to help fix my issues. As I had already returned this version, they assisted me with the older WiFi version I had. My issue with that one is that the lid comes off too easily so they sent me the new version with the locking lid. However, my cat was quick to figure that lid out as well, so alas I am stuck taping the lid on. Ideally they will take the lid locking system from this feeder and combine it with a way that the touchscreen buttons are not so easily triggered by motivated kitties. Im returning this product after a few weeks of use. I have the previous version of the petlibro that connected with Bluetooth but the lid does not lock on it and its easily tipped over. What was appealing about this version was the lid locks on and with the shape of it, I was able to bungee it to a table leg to prevent it from being knocked over. However, my cats persistence to get the kibble inside lead him to figure out how to press the touch sensors enough to get it to dispense. The other drawback of that is that he can easily reset or change the scheduled feedings, which could potentially lead to him not being fed at all. I tried tape on the touch sensors but he quickly claws that off too. With it not being Bluetooth enabled, I cant control it or ensure hes being fed, so I dont get the peace of mind. Were going back to our original petlibro, Ill just have to find a new way to get him to not knock it over.

Really like the fact that it uses AC with battery backup. Delivers portions well and was much easier to set up than older unit. I hope they make a larger one in there future.

Originally, I received a used item and apparently there is still leftover cat food. Kinda gross and has no adopter inside as well. But customer service from PETLIBRO reached out to me and helped me get a brand new feeder. A good finding is that even when the power is out after its back on you still keep all the settings, unlike other electronics. Such a good design. Highly recommended to buy from their official website.

Not having to run around the cats feeding schedule, great! A bit noisy when dispensing. All in all I recommend it, it is freedom.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Pros: sleek appearance / modern matte black; removeable bowl for easy cleaning; button lock feature. Cons: loud beeps, loud dispensing sound into metal bowl; cumbersome programming. I still give it 5 stars because its not rocket science to program. Its stylish, which was one of the most important features I was looking for. If you have a middle-of-the-night feeding, you may hear it across the house, but the good news is that it keeps you from having to get out of bed to feed the cats. You could use it without the metal bowl, but I didnt figure that out until I wrote this sentence.

We purchased two of these so that each of our two cats had a separate area to eat in and timed them so they dispensed at the same times. Programming the unit was pretty straightforward with the included instructions and I like the battery backup option in case the power goes out. They were pretty weirded out the first few feedings but now as soon as they hear the dispenser start at feeding time they run over to it. Definitely preferable to almost tripping over them during feeding time.
