> 24 hourI purchased 5 Hue bulbs and a bridge. Everything worked okay until one day the bridge stopped connecting to my wifi network. Technical support is via Facebook and after several messages and a video of the bridge booting up they determined that the bridge was defective and turned the ticket over to customer support who was supposed to contact me. They didnt so I called them. More photos needed to verify the bridge version and now it will be another 10 days before a replacement arrives. Total turnaround time to get a replacement for a defective part will be about 20 days. I expected better service on a premium product.

> 24 hourThis item sparked my interest for smart-home gadgets. Even after a few years of using these bulbs, I still am amazed every time I turn on the lights either using my phone, or Alexa. I now own more than ten Philips lights and my collection keeps growing every Christmas (because I get them as gifts usually). This brights up my life literally and figuratively.

> 24 hourInstalled in living room wall sconces. Easy to install, and has preset mood tones, or you can make them any color you choose including cool or warm white, along with a % of brightness . Highly recommend them.

> 24 hourI use this to sync the color of movies being given by light. First open the software from computer. Sync the light thru entertainment by movie. Open movie from computer ( download, streaming, DVD or Bluray). Connect wireless to TV or via hdmi adapter. Enjoy movie with synchronize colored lights.

> 24 hourUnlike competitors (which are half the price) the Hub can not operate over WiFi - it requires being hardwired onto a physical ethernet port. Also unlike competitors, the Power Supply / Wall Plug is not a modern slim object that takes up the space of a single plug on a power strip, with the cord/strain-relief exiting to the side – but instead one of the bulky old style wall warts that takes up 2-3 slots on a power strip and has the cord/strain-relief exiting to the bottom... like electronics from the 1980s. The UX and UI in the app to control the lights is bizarre and feels like engineers made it - not interface designers. The technology on these might be powerful, but theyre a headache to install and extremely hard to use. Considering how much cheaper the competition is, its sad when you realize Philips could have made a stellar product - but wanted to cut corners to get higher margins. A better power supply and onboard wifi would have cost under $3 more.

> 24 hourOverall a good product, however they are over priced. Voice assistant integration could be a little better. You cannot tell it to turn on 15 % it has to be 10 or 20 unless you use the app

> 24 hourAlthough at first glance it may seem a bit expensive for some light bulbs, but these are seriously worth the money. Ever went to bed and forgot to turn off the lights and then having to get up after you tucked yourself in all nice and comfortably? I sure have! Gone were the days when I had to leave my cozy bed to turn off the lights. Gone were the days I tumbled and fell cause I cant see waking up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Super easy to install and lights can be controlled using your voice, phone or watch. So many colors to choose from to set the mood. You can even set scheduled hours for when the lights turn on/off or set it so that it turns on when you get home. I havent experienced any problems with it so far. No disconnecting issues. Nada. Highly recommended! Brightness: 5/5 ***** Google & Alexa Integration: 5/5 ***** Ease of Installation: 5/5 ***** My Recommendation: 5/5 *****

> 24 hourI thought since I love my Hue white light bulbs that I would love the color ones even more, but heres the rub. The bulbs are very dim in any color except white. At night when theres no natural light coming in, assuming you have guests, you cant use these bulbs unless you want everyone sitting in the dark. Now I do think colors would look good behind the TV, but then Im not going to stick a lamp behind my TV. In short, if you want light bulbs for your lamps stick to white and save your money. If you want colors, the light bar and light strip are more functional.
