Greater than one weekI honestly do not know what I would do without these lights. If you are thinking about buying them, stop thinking and just buy them.

04-06-2025These lights are a live saver, my power bill has gone down since Ive put these in. I love that that come with present modes on the app plus the light DJ app is great for when my friends and I want to stay in n and have a good time

Greater than one weekLook and work great. Setting up a routine is painful though and seems to be buggy, not come on or turn off as scheduled. Expensive.

> 3 dayI spend more time trying to get the hub to connect to the internet than I do getting to use it. I just opened up my app, and something new happened, and now the damned thing will only work if directly connected to the router....which is on another floor of the house. I HATE THIS DAMNED THING. Absolutely hate it.

> 3 dayHated paying so much for light bulbs, especially since I’ve changed my entire house over to led previously, but the fact they are blue tooth and not WiFi has been great. I used to use WiFi outlets for my lamps, but you use valuable bandwidth on your router. This is a much better system for me, I’ve added 22 hue bulbs to my house, and not just lamps. They work great in stairwells and hallways especially in the morning when everyone is getting up at different times. The ability to have set timers and different brightness at different times is great!!

> 3 dayFirst, lets talk about the cheap bulbs that you can also buy: Ive tried cheaper bulbs (ranging from $15-$35), and while they were inexpensive since they didnt need a hub, Ive found them to be really bad investments. They have died within a couple months, but worst yet, they were NOISY. High pitch ringing that got even louder the brighter the bulbs were. When replacing a dead smart bulb from another vendor this past Saturday, the housing completely came apart unscrewing it from the socket. If anyone was not wise enough to know what to do, it could have led to a serious electrical shock. Now, the Phillips Hue bulbs, while more expensive, are worth every penny. Completely silent, and Ive installed these in a couple homes now along with the dimmer switch. The software is also more comprehensive and allows for a number of custom scenes, scenarios, timers, and smartly turning on/off when you leave or arrive at home. While you can get the cheaper bulbs, DONT. It isnt worth the noise, high failure rate, and poor construction quality. The additional upside of being able to utilize a number of accessories (like the motion sensors, dimmers, and others) makes these a worthwhile investment.
