I STILL CANNOT get the bulbs to be recognized. I gave up.

Hue is by far the most reliable HomeKit product I use and this is the reason for its heavy presence in my home (with over 200 bulbs and growing). The stability of the system is unmatched among competitors and the quality of the components is top notch. This truly is a case of getting what you pay for, and worth the extra cost compared to some of the more value-centered competitors apparent deals that do come at the sacrifice of features or reliability. How Hue will totally handle thread remains a bit unknown, with the hubs only currently having support, but I dont see this as a major factor since the Zigbee mesh the bulbs create for themselves is sufficient. The only negative I would consider is that the hubs do have a finite number of bulbs they can support before reliability begins to deteriorate rapidly - with the absolute maximum number being 63 and the danger zone starting at 50.

The most complex part of these bulbs is figure out which of the many amazing features to use. Im still learning how to optimize the bulbs for my needs but even right out of the box they are easy to set up and use. Looking forward to getting to know them better.

It’s my favorite Alexa Echo accessory. I love the color choices. It’s very easy to set up.

This item sparked my interest for smart-home gadgets. Even after a few years of using these bulbs, I still am amazed every time I turn on the lights either using my phone, or Alexa. I now own more than ten Philips lights and my collection keeps growing every Christmas (because I get them as gifts usually). This brights up my life literally and figuratively.

Loved this until it went out. Didnt last 1 year with minimal usage. This bulb was in my family room and the only time that room gets use is when the grand-kids come for the holidays. I would estimate that this bulb has less than 20 hours on it as being used in the year that I had it. Money down the drain. Moving on to another brand that is cheaper. In the beginning 5 stars because I liked it. $50 product that stopped working in a short period of time 0 stars if I could.

Easy to install and set up. Family loves it. Time to add some more lights and strips
