> 3 dayWe really love ours. Firstly, it is awesome in the Lady Lair. The jetted tub experience is on point and better with a clearer light fixture cover. Being able to bathe in purple and blue hues while being able to switch it to a reading light at the click of a button is incredible. Its so nice to go from comfort and calm to bright and useful. The kicker is there really isnt much of a lag between colors or brightness changes. The other way we have used it is when were both lying in bed and we hear a noise that we think is in another room. Instead of walking down a dark hallway and into a dark room, we can kick on the lights at the click of a button in our bedroom and walk to the house feeling much more confident that we can see what, if anything is going on. These are such neat talking pieces when we have visitors but they have a bigger impact obviously when it is dark. Oh and when we can have kids and we say its lights out at 8 p.m., we can literally turn the lights off or turn them on to a night light that cant be adjusted by the little one. These are great and work better than we expected. 2400 sq ft house and the hub reaches rooms on the absolute opposite side with no trouble.

> 3 daySo I bought this starter kit to put my toes in the water of the smart lighting pool and I am now all in! I love adding playing with different colors to suit my mood and Im totally hooked on controlling the lights with my voice (via Alexa). I am now adding more lights throughout the house but have to budget a little every month because the cost of these things can get out of control. I have tried the white ambiance as well but wouldnt recommend those unless you have a table lamp or floor lamp on a timer. Replacing that timer with a Hue bulb is a great option because there is just so much more flexibility. Set up was super easy for me. The app works great and I even use Siri to control my favorite scenes using HomeKit. Im a huge fan!

> 3 dayAre they worth it? No. Plain and simple, these lights should be down to $20 by now (but why lower the price when we keep paying it, right Philips?). So why did I buy them? Because they are really darn cool! This is a prime real-life example of Monopolys Luxury Tax. You want the cool? You have to pay for the cool. I decided to use some gift cards to give me the chance to bask in the glow of 47 of the 16 million colors I will realistically ever be able to perceive. Im sure Ill buy more, but every time I think about it, the price stops me from buying more right away. Lets see if GE or IKEA can compete and pull the price of these down. I hope so because I want more of them!

> 3 daySo my husband bought these for the express purpose of hooking them up to his computer so when he plays video games the light in the room adjusts to match the gaming action on the screen. And they do ... its amazing. While you can use them for other things, such as just having a constant color in the room, these lightbulbs and programmable hub are truly amazing and multi-use.

> 3 dayGreat lights for setting the mood and the color is phenomenal. Also great for creative lighting too. I got them for my girlfriend at the time and we had a lot of fun with them. The only downside is you need an Alexa hub that is connected to your router via ethernet.
