> 3 dayThis is the most difficult piece of tech Ive bought in - forever. The app is horrible - its so confusing I dont know how to describe how confusing it is. The system cannot simply turn two bulbs into nightlight at night and regular lights in the day - not without buying another Hue product apparently, but why would I buy more of this garbage? This system doesnt play well with bulbs that are on hard switches - it wants you to buy Hue switches to replace them. Otherwise overtime you turn off the bulb it resets to some default behavior, completely negating the point of getting it as a nightlight. Im returning this as fast as Amazon delivered it.

Greater than one weekI had to replace my hub since I had the old model and it simply was not supported any longer. This one works well. The integration with Alexa was tricky but I was finally able to connect it properly.

> 3 dayOverall a great, easy to setup product with a few issues. The selection and pricing really needs to improve before I expand. I gave this a try because of the holiday pricing and I love the ability to change colors and white color temp. Alexa never has a problem controlling the bulbs but the actual Philips app constantly has issues saying it cant find the hub. The bulbs that are supposed to be 60w eq and 800 lumens are dim and pale in comparison to other led bulbs of same rating like Utilitech. Side by side, full power, same color temp Philips is much dimmer. I like light and the bulb offering is poor with no 100w equivalent bulbs which is what I typically use in LED. Not to mention what they do offer is still way over priced. It seems they still only have a 1 bulb pack of the color bulb unless you buy a starter pack with a hub. I also have a lot of recessed lighting using 90w eq LEDs and Philips only offers 60w. Me personally, I would only buy the color or white ambiance bulbs. The non ambiance white bulbs are just a dingy yellow color while I generally prefer daylight temp.
