I couldnt plug the unit to the wall because the part that plugs into the unit was MISSING. Theres no way to get a replacement on the defective part. Had to RETURN whole kit for refund. Am not going to the trouble to but it again, and cant buy just the part that is defective. Not happy at all.

I like the fact that the colors can be altered to your liking.

I use these lights almost every day. The color option feature is by far my favorite. The lights can be changed to any color and the brightness of those colors can also be made brighter or darker. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a light bulbs that can change colors.

Absolutely love the product. This is the first used product I have boughten off Amazon and it appeared as if it was new. The lights are perfect and easy to control from the app, google assistant, and alexa. I have also paired some of my rooms / scenes with a Hue Smart Switch. an easy, practical solution for rooms without light switches or ceiling lights.

The Hue app is garbage. I was able to connect multiple devices to my Echo. However when I try and connect the Philips hue lights the app wont even connect, or let me sign in. Hopefully the developers sort out an update soon. I wish I would have bought The Clapper.

I really did NOT want another hub. This was one more power cord, one more cord to the router.. very much not how I wanted to be setting up a modern wireless smart house. But, they certainly work. Every time, all the time. If you are having trouble with devices, perhaps this is worth the money for you, it is for me. Each bulb is about 2X the cost of its competitors. But, Hue comes with a full suite of bulbs (rare), consistently works (I cant say how rare that is, but its certainly not universal). So, I give 5 stars for working perfectly, beautifully, easily, and reliably. Sure, its more expensive, but theres no surprises there. Only slight concern, the app is a mixed bag. Much better than others in some ways, but limited in others. Certainly not a hindrance to recommending or buying more; especially as there look to be third party apps that will fill the holes of the standard app.
