> 3 dayThe Hue app is garbage. I was able to connect multiple devices to my Echo. However when I try and connect the Philips hue lights the app wont even connect, or let me sign in. Hopefully the developers sort out an update soon. I wish I would have bought The Clapper.

> 3 dayOk I absolutely LOVE these lights but I still cant reccomend them because at 40$ per bulb theyre just not worth it. Sure they can change colors and dim but there are cheaper lights that can do 80% of what these do at half the price. The worst thing about them is the low amount of Lumens, I got a cheap LED bulb (Around 20$) with 1600 Lumens. Thats TWICE what these bulbs can do. What that means is that to get the equivalent of that light I would have to spend 80$ (4x More!) to get the same brightness. Its really disappointing how these are SO EXPENSIVE and Phillips wont lower the price. Get something else, the colors are cool but not worth it for the price.

> 3 dayUnlike competitors (which are half the price) the Hub can not operate over WiFi - it requires being hardwired onto a physical ethernet port. Also unlike competitors, the Power Supply / Wall Plug is not a modern slim object that takes up the space of a single plug on a power strip, with the cord/strain-relief exiting to the side – but instead one of the bulky old style wall warts that takes up 2-3 slots on a power strip and has the cord/strain-relief exiting to the bottom... like electronics from the 1980s. The UX and UI in the app to control the lights is bizarre and feels like engineers made it - not interface designers. The technology on these might be powerful, but theyre a headache to install and extremely hard to use. Considering how much cheaper the competition is, its sad when you realize Philips could have made a stellar product - but wanted to cut corners to get higher margins. A better power supply and onboard wifi would have cost under $3 more.

> 3 dayOnly reason I bought this because newer bridge is needed for newer features. But the new bridge doesnt seem to work with alexa or google. When I try to add Hue to either smart assistant nothing happens. The linking process for smart home devices needed to be greatly improved.

> 3 dayWorked fine for 31 days. On day 32, it stopped working. Tried changing channel on hub. Tried moving the hub closer to the bulb. Tried moving bulb into another lamp that had a working bulb. Pretty pathetic for a $50 light bulb. Since it is beyond the Amazon return window by 2 days, I called Phillips and fortunately they will send me a new one after I complete their return process.

> 3 dayThe colors are mesmerizing, only issue I have is sometimes the lights flicker and turn back on when ultizing with alexa and telling it to turn off.

Greater than one weekThe price is a little more expensive than I would have liked BUT compared to cheaper bulbs, youll be glad you got these. I love how it works with Alexa too.
