Motion sensor didnt work well with Vivint, kept setting off alarm.

I bought two Philips Hue motion sensors and I was surprised how far they detect activity. I have one in the bathroom and one in the hallway. Its a game changer. I like these sensors so much I might order another one. The wife is VERY happy!

A little difficult to setup but if you have setup other hue accessories, then you wont have a problem. Motion detection is good. You can set different settings for day and night which is the best feature. I use in hallway outside of bedrooms. During the day, just turns on lights. At night turns on very dim as nightlight to bathroom. I would buy again.

I bought this sensor to use in a kids bathroom with Hue lights because they never would turn the lights off at the wall. It has lasted a little over a month before it became unreachable on my Hue bridge. The first time I was able to delete it from the Hue network and add it back, but now I cant even get the indicator light to flash or get it back on the Hue network. Typical that Amazons return policy expired 5 days before the product broke down.

Love this product

I LOVE THIS. Previously, I had to use my phone to control my Philips lights. Now, this simply designed motion sensor knows when I enter the room and sets the lights JUST as I like them. If this product seems appealing to you, I would just like you to know that its everything it is supposed to live up to.

Easy product installation, small and quite precise in its operation. The only thing that is missing is that the software has more configuration options, such as being inactive at certain times.

The range is about 6-8 feet at maximum sensitivity. I cant have it by the door in a room (where I would want it to turn on immediately) because where I sit isnt detected. I’m constantly bringing it around the room with me to get it to pick up different sitting areas. This isn’t a huge room either.
