Used it in my babys room to dim it over the night when we step in. Best thing ever! it reads the rooms temp too!!

I have this in a closet where the light switch is in a very inconvenient location. It totally solves the problem by automatically turning on my Hue light bulb whenever I walk in. We like it so much we are putting in 3 more of them in similar locations.

Set routines, set dimmer for time of day, when motion sensor should be active, auto time on/off for burglary deterent, set length of time light stays on when motion detected. Adjust sensitivity of motion detection. Dog needed to be able to be detected so he could navigate down the stairway. Dont know how I lived without it.

I purchased this to turn on a small light in my bathroom at night when I walk in (and then turn it off two minutes later). I used to use an Echo Button for this purpose, but this motion sensor is a big upgrade. It is more consistent (and not as blinding in the dark) and convenient than the Echo Button. When I purchased this I was unaware that it also had a temperature/lumen sensor that feeds into the Home app, but those are neat (but not totally necessary) features. I will likely buy another one of these to place near the front door.

Manufacturer should make the reset button more accessible. Works okay. Issues with it turning lights on when nothing triggers the sensor.

I purchased this because I saw a review that said the purchaser had gotten us to work with his smartthing system. While that is possible, it is not simple. I found a third-party driver that allowed me to use it but it didn’t operate properly. I do not recommend this at all if you are using smartthings exclusively. If you have a Philips hue hub, it may be much easier to integrate it into your smart thing system. Check out the Aeotech brand for easier smartthings integration. I didn’t find them until I was troubleshooting this device.

The product works as descibed. One feature missing is the ability to assign a light to more then one motion sensor. The idea is to have an outside motion sensor activate a light outside, and a light inside. A second inside motion sensor to activate the same inside light.

I love this sensor!! it works great for my staircase. I did have to buy a second one to put one at the top and one at the bottom of my staircase. Now it is exactly what I wanted. I love the different settings you can do with the lights, the night light mode is my favorite so In the middle of the night your not blinded by the light when it comes on. you can set it to do that from this time to this time. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. If you do buy two to work the same lights just make sure the you put both sensors settings the same.
