Light sensor only works in coordination with motion detector

Worked great for the first month or two, then stopped working - pretty disappointing - loved it when it worked though. Easy to set up and get going, just didnt last in our house very long.

Upon setting it up for the first time it does not work. It will turn the lights off when no motion is detected but it will not turn the light back on when motion is detected (it does sense movement based on the red led). Not only does it not turn the lights on it also removed the ability for me to turn lights on via voice communication until I disabled the motion detector unit.

Sensor works fine but needs a separate hub. Will not work directly with Amazon Echo Plus. But.. if you search up YouTube, theres a way to setup directly to a single bulb (without hub or any other devices). Downside to this is that you lose control (no schedule, cannot hook up the bulb to anything else).

Love this sensor. I set it up in my kitchen and it turns my lights on when I walk into the room. It seems my hands are always full when I enter the kitchen and now I dont have to worry about hitting the light switch. I plan on getting more sensors for other rooms.

Does what it says, very simple not worth the money in my personal opinion... The whole system is definitely over priced now that I know their base cost.. Im already a lost case my whole house is Philips hue. Dont go down that road, just wait.

The motion sensor was easy to setup and get working only area that its lacking is the mounting , in the end I just put it on a shelf that faces the door

If you want to use it with Home Assistant, you cant really rely on illuminance level because its delayed by 2-4 minutes (sometime more than that). With Philips hub, I heard it works fine but I did not try.

Seems like it works fine, was missing mount for wall and now I have to return it.

Perfect for places that you dont need a light on all the time. For example, I use it in the kitchen, which I want the light on only when Im in there. Light comes on automatically when I enter, and after 3 minutes of no movement detected (which you can configure the amount of time), it turns the lights off. This was the first one I put in to test. I plan to put them also in the hallway and front entry.
