Philips Hue Motion Sensor + 2pk W A19

> 3 daySo I have this in our bathroom and it works great, lights are set to 100% brightness during daytime hours and in the overnight hours I have it set to the dimmest setting upon entry. The only improvement I would make would be the ability to override the sensor when youre in say the tub/shower where the sensor cant see you. If I tell Alexa to turn on the light it should override the sensor telling it to turn off the light.

> 3 dayI purchased this sensor to make my front porch light motion activated (the light is a hue bulb obviously). It works perfectly. Setup is super simple, and the sensor is very reliable. I love that its battery powered so I dont need an outlet (although it would be cool if Hue did offer a combined bulb + motion sensor all in one unit). Random bonus feature: this thing also has a temperature sensor. You cant do much with it currently other than using a Hue Labs experimental feature to change your lights if it gets too cold or too hot. So for example, you can flash a light in your home if it is getting too cold outside. Anyway, this sensor is great. Now I just wish they would make it less expensive.

> 3 dayDidnt like that it had to be screwed into the surface it was mounting to. In the end the sensor was too big and bulky and I returned it. Now there are screw holes left behind.

> 3 dayThis works really nicely for my purposes. I have a bathroom with a very tiny light switch, and as I host people for dinner or game nights fairly often, I always had to explain how to turn on the light. Now, if anyone gets into the bathroom, itll turn on. As a bonus, I can dim it significantly at night for less eye strain. If its useful to anyone else, I put the magnet into the wall using a standard nail, with no issues. The inside is just the right size.

Greater than one weekWhen used in a low traffic room these are great. When used in a bedroom however they are a little finicky. Sensitivity too high and lights will turn on in middle of the night. Sensitivity too low and they won’t turn on when you need them.
