So I have this in our bathroom and it works great, lights are set to 100% brightness during daytime hours and in the overnight hours I have it set to the dimmest setting upon entry. The only improvement I would make would be the ability to override the sensor when youre in say the tub/shower where the sensor cant see you. If I tell Alexa to turn on the light it should override the sensor telling it to turn off the light.

I purchased this sensor to make my front porch light motion activated (the light is a hue bulb obviously). It works perfectly. Setup is super simple, and the sensor is very reliable. I love that its battery powered so I dont need an outlet (although it would be cool if Hue did offer a combined bulb + motion sensor all in one unit). Random bonus feature: this thing also has a temperature sensor. You cant do much with it currently other than using a Hue Labs experimental feature to change your lights if it gets too cold or too hot. So for example, you can flash a light in your home if it is getting too cold outside. Anyway, this sensor is great. Now I just wish they would make it less expensive.

Has worked really well with our Apple Homekit and home automation!!! We used this in our bedroom to automatically turn on/off lights when we enter and leave the room!

Didnt like that it had to be screwed into the surface it was mounting to. In the end the sensor was too big and bulky and I returned it. Now there are screw holes left behind.

This works really nicely for my purposes. I have a bathroom with a very tiny light switch, and as I host people for dinner or game nights fairly often, I always had to explain how to turn on the light. Now, if anyone gets into the bathroom, itll turn on. As a bonus, I can dim it significantly at night for less eye strain. If its useful to anyone else, I put the magnet into the wall using a standard nail, with no issues. The inside is just the right size.

When used in a low traffic room these are great. When used in a bedroom however they are a little finicky. Sensitivity too high and lights will turn on in middle of the night. Sensitivity too low and they won’t turn on when you need them.
