Ughhhhh just finished the bottle & went to order another bottle & I just realized that I was ripped off!!! I paid for 180 caps but only got the bottle with 90 capsules! Soooo freakin annoyed but I guess that’s what I get for not looking! I’m giving it 5 stars because it definitely stopped the leg craps you know the ones that make you jump out of bed. Ordering again but will make sure I get the amount ordered.

I manage intense anxiety daily. My psychiatrist is quite forward thinking in her practice and together, we try alternatives before we move to prescriptions. She recommended I try magnesium citrate to help with the tense and rigid muscles I experience when I am feeling anxious, as magnesium has muscle relaxing effects. When taken regularly as a preventative, I do notice my body is not as tense. This does not work for in the moment relief; for the most benefit, does have to be taken regularly, in my experience. The capsules are bigger than I prefer, the benefit far outweighs the capsule size. Also in my experience, taking my morning dose AFTER breakfast and my evening dose AFTER dinner prevents stomach upset; taken before, with food or on an empty stomach guarantees me an upset stomach. As with any supplement, diet or lifestyle change, partner with a medical professional to determine the best course, plan and dosing.

I was told about the wonderful things magnesium does for your body, but most importantly how it stopped the severe cramps in my legs and body at night. All natural and just helped my overall well-being of being able to sleep.

This will be my magnesium of choice from now on. Ive been talking this for a few months and have almost finished the bottle. Ive tried several different brands and types of magnesium to help with my migraines: Solaray, Solgar, Now, Bluebonnet...I cant even name all of the brands. Some were tablets, some capsules. Capsules seem to absorb the best and were easiest to swallow. And Ive taken different types of magnesium: citrate, asporotate, glycinate. This brand of mag citrate is what works best for me. I usually take magnesium at night because it makes me sleepy. A problem I started running into was developing restless legs after taking it. That made no sense because magnesium is one of the few things thats supposed to HELP restless legs. Im starting to suspect that magnesium stearate, which is in many supplements (including the other brands I was taking), was contributing to this. I bought this because Chris Kresser has recommended this brand before, and it doesnt have mag stearate. So far, I havent had the same issue with restless legs. The potency of this seems good. I have figured out that a good dose for me is one capsule every other day. I also take methylated b vitamins a couple times a week because I have the MTHFR mutation, which contributes to my migraines. These two supplements and the monthly anti-CGRP prescription shot have reduced my migraines by about 90% when I am good at sticking to my known lifestyle habits that reduce migraines (regular sleep, regular meal times, avoiding food triggers). I also find mag citrate to be helpful at counteracting the constipation that anti-CGRP meds cause. Im really grateful to have this option available to me.

Good supplement for magnesium, seems to help with sleep as well!

I don’t notice anything different in my life or health since I began taking this supplement. My daughter suggested I include this because it has “amazing health benefits”. Ok… I’m sorry but I don’t notice anything at all. Could be good stuff, could just be “snake oil”! I dunno!

PLEASE place the barcode label so the actual supplement label can be read! This is not the first time I’ve seen this. Very frustrating. There’s clearly blank space to place it.

I trust pure encapsulation, it was highly recommended by my endocrinologist. Have used other products by them. There is no flavor or after taste.
