Racor - PBH-1R, Bike Storage, Garage Pulley Lift

We recently purchased the Racor bike lift. This low-cost device keeps our two bikes off the floor freeing up limited space in our garage. The products were made of good quality material and operate easily.

Great bike storage system. Pullies are very easy to use.

Maybe things have improved since some earlier reviews, but I found this to be well finished with no issues. I used two of these to hold a ladder (one at each end) and found the hooks to be just the right size and shape to hold the side rails. Im not sure they would be quite as good for a bicycle! The only improvement I would suggest would be for the base plate on the pulley away from the hoisting end to be a little longer so that that the moving pulley could nest up closer to the ceiling, but that is probably only relevant for my use with a ladder. I didnt use the supplied screws, but I can see that they might not be the best for certain applications. The cleats for the rope are also pretty cheesy, but they do work and replacements are easy to find if you want.

i would definitely reccomend the recor pbh-1r ceiling mount bike lift once i located the ceiling joists the install went flawless

Very easy to install and mount on the ceiling. Has really opened out the garage for more storage and open space. The rope could be much better but for average use it works just fine.

I purchased three of these to hang our bikes. It was easy to install and easy to use and the price is right. Cant go wrong with this product.

I bought 2 of these for our garage and they work great and save floor space on our garage.

Quick install ... setup a board on ceiling to anchor the Bike Lift. Didnt have the screw problems described in other posts, I have my own set of screws ready but had no need to use. Maybe manufacturer upgraded / corrected screw problem

The type of rope used on this product needs to be improved. It can be frayed easily, especially if you often lift and lower your bike.
