> 3 dayI have 4 bikes hanging from ceiling in my garage using Racor . Before we moved and knocked over bikes as they simply got in the way. I used stud finder, 2 x 4 x 8 wood and 3 inch deck screws to mount. Count the 2 x 4 x 8 in half , mount to ceiling using deck screws, mount the Racor and raise the bikes. Works great and has for 10 years (had some older ones). These over some cars but have never had any issues...not even thru 5.6x earthquake.

> 3 dayI purchased three Racor PBH-1R ProStar Bike Lift Ceiling Mounts and found that the installation was easy as 1-2-3!! My bikes are now securely fastened on my ceiling in my garage and now out of the way!

> 3 dayThis is the third bike pulley system Ive purchased. I absolutely love them for their convenience of bike storage in the garage. This rating would have been easily been 5 stars, excepting for the poor quality of the line which ships with the product. As I mentioned, I bought three, the third came with a frayed, worn and twisted piece of line that should have been rejected at the factory. Te frayed portions would not fit through the pulleys (and really shouldnt be used regardless), so I will have to either send the unit back or buy my own pulley line. As Ive already mounted the unit before I discovered the poor condition of the line, you can guess which Ill do. Bottom line, I would recommend this product, but check the line carefully before you mount the pulleys!

> 3 dayI bought five of these and thought they worked so well for my families bicycles that I have used them to hang up other things in the garage as well. It works excellent for getting my Thule car top storage box off of the garage floor up and out of the way.

> 3 dayThis bike lift works as described and the brackets are solid enough and was free of defects. Instructions were sufficient. The Made In China construction was up to expectation. Many reviews mention rope quality, but the one included did not raise any undue concerns -- for a 30-40 lb. bike its OK. Would I rock climb with it? No. If it shows excessive wear signs over time its easy enough to replace. The screws did their job, but were one of my dislikes as the did not go as easily into holes I pre-drilled in my ceiling joists as I would have preferred. Dont know if it was the screws, the holes or the wood. Just be prepared to put in some extra muscle if you use the supplied screws. Lag bolts might be better. Id still buy this item again.

> 3 dayThe rope is terrible and the measurements for how far the device measures from ceiling to hook bottom should be stated so you can tell if you will have head/car top clearance.

> 3 dayI purchased two of these bike lifts for my garage. Installation is straightforward with the included instructions and they operate quite smoothly. These bike lifts are a great way to store your bikes up near the ceiling to make room for your cars or other items in your garage.
