A great gadget that, once installed, stores a bike high and out of the way, yet does not require much strength to load the bike in the hooks and hoist it.

Great system. I have two of these hiding bikes in my condo. I made plywood plaques because where I wanted them fell between joists. They function perfectly.

I bought and installed the Racor bike hoist a few weeks ago. It operates smoothly and appears to be built well-enough to last a long time. I was concerned that it might be easy to drop the bike but the rope-stopping mechanism works great. My small-ish girlfriend has no problems using it. And yes...it definitely helped with my garage re-org.

This bike lift is relatively simple to install but the installation instructions could be clearer. Once installed it works smoothly and easily and meets all of my expectations.

Installation was very easy in my garage, which has an upward-sloping ceiling that is finished in unpainted Sheetrock. I was able to follow the tape and nail lines on the Sheetrock to locate the rafters above, and it took me less than minutes to install each unit (I have three installed so far). It would have been much harder if I hadnt known where the rafters were, and I dont think I would trust wallboard anchors to hold my bikes above my Lexus. The mechanism works smoothly and seems like it will hold up. Time will tell about that.

Cheap Chinese Parts! Bought three of these lifts, the first one I installed didnt even lift a kids bike halfway up when one of the plastic pulleys fell apart. As I lowered the bike, more of the pulleys disintegrated?!? Now, I cant return them as I tried to create a good one from the other two boxes of parts and had to drill the rivets out! All that work to install and every single pully from each box crumbled in my hands! What a waste of time, money, and effort! Follow up: I contacted Racor regarding replacement parts and safety concerns, here is their response: “The Racor products were discontinued early 2021. We no longer have any inventory/parts available and are not aware of any distributor partners with product left either. There is no replacement/substitute item.” If this is the kind of consumer support from a company selling these types of products, treat their customers...BUYER BEWARE as Racor does not care about safe reliable products!

Works well enough. Nylon rope was frayed in one spot, but should last a while. Directions were terrible. Locking mechanism doesnt. I tied off end on bike to keep it up. Bike pulled up, but uneven. It works well enough and is cheap.

Great solution for hanging bikes. The bikes all hang nicely on the pulleys.

Installs quickly, its easy to use, and it does a great job of keeping my bike out of the way in an already busy garage. Great value for the money. As others noted, the screws are cheap but an extra dollar at the local hardware store remedied that.

These are OK if you change the rope and mounting screws - something more affordable at $8.99 than $17 & up. I got one of these, a good quality rope and mounting hardware appropriate for my particular application for about a dollar less than this one is selling for at HF.

The Racor Bike Lift is the perfect way to store your bicycle overhead and free up extra garage space. The Bike Lift uses a rope and pulley system that is mounted to your ceiling. Raise and lower a 50lb bike up to 12 feet by simply latching the hooks to the seat and handlebars and pulling the rope. When you’re ready to ride, unlock the rope and lower your bike… no ladders needed! Bikes are the number one bulky storage problem for consumers, but the Bike Lift pulleys do most of the work–making a 50lb bike feel like it’s only about 12 pounds: a 4:1 mechanical advantage. The RacorPro PHL-1R takes only minutes to install.
Easy-to-Install Pulley System Frees up Floor Space
The PBH-1R uses a pulley system that makes it easy to raise and lower bikes weighing up to 50 pounds. The system can be installed on ceilings as high as 14 feet, and the unique rope locking system ensures that the rope stays locked in place when not in use. Storing your bike off the floor not only protects your bike from damage, but it frees up valuable floor space, helping to keep your space tidy and better organized.

Installing the Racor PBH-1R is a breeze, and you can have it completed within a matter of minutes. The only tools necessary for installation are a Phillips head screwdriver, a drill with a 1/8" bit, a tape measure, and a stud finder (for ceilings with drywall). The easy-to-follow instructions will have your Ceiling-Mounted Bike Lift ready to go in just five easy steps.

Solid-Steel Construction for Durability
The PBH-1R is built to last. All of its included hardware is constructed from solid steel for maximum durability and toughness. The locking mechanism, pulleys, rope cleat, and lift mechanism offer smooth performance for years to come. The included 48-foot lift rope is also extremely durable, and it provides plenty of excess length for ceilings up to 14-feet high.

Easy Raising and Lowering with Minimal Effort
The PBH-1R makes it a breeze to raise and lower your bike from its ceiling-mounted position. The pulley system handles the brunt of the force, so it requires very little effort on your part. Simply hook the bike handlebar and seat to the included hooks and pull the lift rope to raise the bike to its ceiling-mounted storage position. With each pull, the locking mechanism locks into place to eliminate accidental drops. Store the excess rope on the included rope cleat to keep it nice and tidy.

The RacorPro PBH-1R Ceiling-Mount Bike Lift measures 10.24 x 5.12 x 3.5 inches (packaged) and weighs just 3.64 pounds (packaged). All included components feature a black finish.

What"s in the Box
Two lift assemblies, two hook pulleys (one with locking mechanism), 48-foot rope, one rope cleat, 10 two-inch wood screws.
