> 3 dayThe bike lift was easy to install and easy to use. The bikes just lift up off the ground and we can now walk under them in the garage giving us much more floor space. When letting the bikes down I advise going slowly or wearing gloves. The company was great we could not find the tie down cleat and they sent us a new one very quickly with no trouble at all.

Greater than one weekEasy to install, comes with simple instructions and everything you need. the brackets that attache to the ceiling come with multiple holes, so you can change the orientation as needed. great for getting bikes (or other bulky items) off the floor and freeing up some garage space.

> 3 dayThis is a very cost effective solution that works fairly well. You do have to jockey the bike as it goes up to keep it from cocking up on one side.

> 3 dayI have two bikes hanging from the ceiling with these lift systems. Its convenient The only down-side is the included rope seems to wear pretty easily as it goes through the locking mechanism. So far no problem.

> 3 dayI use this in my garage to mount my bike. Great space saver not having the bike block and walkways. Installation is easy, all you really need is a drill. Mounted this through one of the rafters. Depending on how high your ceilings are and how tall you are, this may pose a head bump hazard.

> 3 dayThis is the 3rd Racor Ive bought. Im pleased with their price and quality. They arent the easiest to install, I install them on a 2x4 and then attach the 2x4 to the ceiling. This give me some flexibility on finding cross beams, etc. Bike are held securely and Ive never had one fall. Ive been using them for about 2 years. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to free up space in their garage.

> 3 dayThe pulleys allow the rope to to get stuck between the jockey wheel and the pulley housing. VERY frustrating. I just got down off a 6 foot ladder that I had to get out to get to the pulleys that are - by design - mounted out of reach (ceiling/high mount). Terrible design that could be remedied by simply decreasing the width of the pulley housing by ~3-4mm. Also, remember this: You must keep clear the space under the hanging bikes if you use your bikes with any frequency. So if you mount this close to the wall, the wall and floor space below the bike must be clear/unencumbered. Because of this you actually LOSE some space.

> 3 dayI have installed two of these: one for a bike, and one for a cargo pod (Yakima SkyBox LoPro). Bike = easy and fantastic. Cargo pod = easy and fantastic -- BUT, be careful with pulley positioning and with raising/lowering the pod. Specifically, do not mount the pulleys TOO far apart. The hooks that grab the lips of the cargo pod will perform better if they are able to hang more vertically. I spaced them a bit too far apart, and it creates some instability due to the angle at which they are grabbing the lips. Ill have to relocate one of them slightly...) Note: the cargo pod weighs 52 pounds, just over the rated limit of the bike lift. At first I raised the cargo box with the crossbars inside it (total weight around 70 pounds?), and could definitely feel a difference in stability, and in the effort at the very end of the lift, when trying to get it as close to the rafters as possible. I heartily recommend this product! For heavier stuff, and for unwieldy stuff, try the
