> 3 dayIve had the hooks up for 6 months now and we really like them. They were easy to install on the garage rafters. It only took a few minutes to put all 3 up. Using them for the bikes is extremely easy as well. They are a great way to make room for a car in the garage.

> 3 dayI modified this product to lift a childrens swing up and down at our child development center. It works great! Some folks have mentioned deficiencies in the rope and screws - As a general rule, I always use my own screws when I hang things like this, so I didnt even try the screws that came with this product. The rope, however, was fine! Its plenty long enough for whatever setup you have, and the only time it should fray is if you cut it. Overall, I think its great - seems well-built, its sturdy... Couldnt ask for more!

06-06-2025EASY TO INSTALL, WORKS GREAT, DIRECTIONS COMPREHENSIVE AND SIMPLE. THE ROPE LOOKS A BIT SHABBY BUT IT DOES THE JOB (SURE HOPE IT CONTINUES AS I DONT NEED THE BIKES FALLING ON MY ANTIQUE AUSTIN HEALEY. ALL MY FRIENDS ARE IMPRESSED, I LIKELY AM RESPONSIBLE FOR ADDITIONAL SALES FOR THE COMPANY. DID I MENTION, BRING PRICE RANGE FOR THESAE PRODUCTS, YOU DONT NEED TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO GET A BETTER VALUE.

06-06-2025Perfect solution to our space dilemma in the garage. Much easier for me compared to trying to dead lift the bike above my head onto hooks on the wall (previous storage of my bike).

> 3 dayPretty much as advertised and good value. Not too hard to install, decent instructions and quality is consistent with the price. The hooks that catch on the seat do not grab perfectly, but it satisfactorily holds the bike.

> 3 dayI am very pleased at how it worked. I saved me a lot of space and it takes about 30 seconds to lift my bike or lower it. I bought another one for mu thule roof box.

> 3 dayOkay so I am using it to hang a kayak (34 lbs) from the ceiling of my garage. Just putting the hooks into the handles on either end and i works seamlessly. I especially like the automatic locking feature on the last pulley. It makes it so easy to pull up by yourself. Super easy to lower right onto the rack on the car, and when I get back just pull right back up. No need to drag the boat out from under the house (where I used to keep it) and lug it to the driveway and have to heave it to the center of the car. (out of breath just thinking about it) Really makes me want to get on the water more because it is just so easy.

> 3 dayThe hoist works fine, once its installed, but its a pain to do without a good drill and drill bit. These are ideas to consider: 1. The wood screws are not good. I mounted to a high (11-ft), dense beam, and the screw heads easily strip. I had to use a larger drill bit than the 1/8-inch they recommend because I couldnt torque the screwdriver and not strip the heads. 2. In California, we have to worry about earthquakes. I found the perfect solution. At Home Depot, they sell, for $5, these devices that include a carabiner on one end that you can attach through a hole in the hook and a 3-ft bungee cord, which is then attached to another carabiner, which I fastened to the bike. I used them on both sides. Thus, if an earthquake occurs, I know the mountain bike wont bounce off the hooks and on to our washer and dryer. 3. Its really important to make sure the hoists are mounted directly above the seat and handlebars to get the smoothest action. I find that even I had no problems lifting the bike with the hoist, and Im small and light weight.

> 3 dayThis product performed as advertised. Find the joist and install with a few screws. The screws are fairly large and its a challenge to install a screw vertically through drywall and then into the hard wood of a joist while standing on a ladder (power screwdriver and drilling a pilot hole definitely recommended). Buyers should note, also, that a sufficiently high ceiling will be required to completely remove the bike as an obstacle...remember, the bike hangs down a couple of feet from its hoisted position. The directions (primarily a pictogram)could have been a bit more detailed and required some intuitive reasoning on how to string the hoisting rope, but its simple enough to figure out. Also, you will need a storage place for the rope that hangs down. The manufacturer supplies a tie-down, but its not a necessity since the hoisting mechanism contains a self-locking device once the bike is pulled up.
