I have used many of these and they work great. Easy to install and use.

I have a very tall (7+ft) and wide (6.5ft) mahogany China cabinet. It weights a ton. I recently moved it into my living room because it was so big it over powered the dining room. I realized that, being on the second floor, it shook when people walked by. Nothing major, but it did have me uneasy. I used two of these straps to secure it to the wall and was amazed. No more shaking or wobbling. I could jump up and down in front of it without the least bi movement. I echo other reviewers in cautioning that the straps really need to be attached to a stud, This wasnt a problem given the width of the cabinet. The cabinet may not be exactly centered with the wall studs, but i am confident it is secure. Ive also seen what can happen when a child pulls out the drawers of a dresser and tries to climb it. My nieces dresser cam tumbling down on her because she did just that. I wouldnt hesitate to put these on any dressers or tall pieces of furniture in a house with kids. I am ordering another set for a grandfather clock. I dont think ill be able to enter that with a stud, but its considerably lighter, so i think I can get away with a sturdy wall anchor.

These furniture straps are great for everywhere, but especially here in California. Ive bought and used many of these for a lot of heavy or tall furniture, like book cases, hutches, cabinets and I used these white color straps to attach my fridge to the wall - dont want that falling on ya when the earth is shaking! Id recommend these also for anyone with small children who can climb and knock things over. Very easy to use (best with an electric drill to get the bolt into a stud) and simple safety and insurance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Yes, you could just purchase straps and screw them into the wall, but then youd be missing out on a lot that these particular straps have to offer. First, they are actually safety tested to a particular weight - is it really worth saving a few bucks to take a chance that the straps you buy might shred in a strong quake or if a big kid (or two kids) climb on your piece of furniture? Second, the adhesive/velcro combination makes it so you dont have to ruin your lovely, expensive, heavy furniture in order to secure it. Third, everything is right there in the package, with instructions, ready to go. Convenience and safety in one. Ive used these straps for my armoires and other particularly heavy pieces of furniture and lighter duty straps (KidCo Straps and anti-tip brackets for) for midweight and lighter pieces.

Ive tried a couple different products for anchoring furniture to the walls to protect my little munchkin from hurting herself, but these seem to work the best. Theyre a little more expensive than other options, but theyre easy to install because only one end needs to be screwed into the wall. The other side attaches to the furniture via velcro. The velcro strip is stuck to the furniture wherever you want and the strap is secured via the velcro. It is a sturdy hold as the velcro is quite strong and virtually impossible to pull apart when pulled in parallel opposite directions, yet if you want to move the furniture, you can pull the velcro off by pulling it up (or perpendicular) from the velcro.

LOVE this product. As Earthquake Country native Ive been using them for years. But now that I live elsewhere I still use them. I just feel much safer knowing that heavy furniture is rigidly affixed to the studs in the wall. Easy to install and brings tremendous piece of mind.

Super easy to install (well my husband installed..) but because it has two places on the strap to mount to wall and because the connector is Velcro - it gives lots of options to find a stud to secure it to w/o having to move or rearrange your furniture!! Very sturdy as well.. I was hesitant about using Velcro to hold up heavy furniture when yanked on by my kid but this Velcro is like super Velcro! I have to pry it apart with a screwdriver its so strong! Weve bought several sets of these in different colors to secure all of our furniture! Highly recommend and 100% worth the price!!

I bought this to ensure my sons lizard tank would not tip over for any reason. super easy to attach I made sure I found a stud in the wall first. it was difficult for me by myself but ultimately very satisfied with the product

The same price as the store, AND they work great! IF you live in earthquake country, and seems that may extend a lot more east than here on the coast of California, YOU NEED THESE! Yes, they are a bit of work to install, BUT if that day should ever come when a moderate to huge earthquake happens, your furniture will not topple over on you as you get out of your home. Now, you MUST, seriously, MUST follow the very tiny print and attach these to STUDS in your walls. If not, these are just a waste of money and are cosmetic. IF you attach them to a stud AND either drill into your furniture, OR use the very strong Velcro, you will be OK. I seriously recommend you use their other products to ensure your valuables do not fall, BUT ya really need this in much of the West Coast and well, anywhere ya might have an earthquake! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Quakehold furniture straps!
