> 24 hourPlug and play. Hook it up to my TV with HDMI, connect camera with provided ethernet cable, hook up power, hook up provided USB mouse, turn on, and follow instructions. This seems to be a easy to use system and a good value when I got it $200 off for black friday. I havent hooked it up to the internet yet for backup.

> 24 hourGreat product, first I installed one 16 channel unit, and the week after I installed another one. I am a professional electronics tech with over 35 years of experience. I suggest this product to everybody. Also, I had technical questions, they responded very fast. Thank you.

> 24 hourUpdate 9/15 The new system arrived promptly after my conversation with amazon. This system worked as advertised. Due to the initial issue I cannot give this a five star but the company has also sent many many follow up emails making sure my system is functional and I am satisfied. Update 9/4... I worked with amazon and after a while on the phone with a lovely customer service person my replacement is on the way with expedited shipping. If this one works then I’ll modify my rating but for now it remains a 1 star. Reolink finally emailed back with troubleshooting steps beyond what was in the manual and the system was still not functioning. I’m not responding to them since amazon has initiated the exchange and their steps did not solve the issue. Original review... Dead on arrival. No signal to monitor. NVR appears to be functioning it there is no output signal from the HDMI port. I followed the start guide to a T and the troubleshooting guide also. Monitor is verified as good and HDMI cable is good also. I submitted a request for help with Reolink this morning. We shall see how long it takes them to respond. If I don’t hear back by Tomorrow I will attempt to just return as defective and reorder. Will update once the issue is rectified.

> 24 hourThese are incredibly easy to use camera systems. Everything is basically plug and play. Upgrading the hard drives for larger storage is a breeze as well. Ive bought several of these units and will be purchasing another one this week!

> 24 hourI recently purchsed the RLK16-800B8 system and had some questions on configuration. The tech support got back within 24 hours with the information that I needed. I added RLC-511 cameras and tech support quickly answered the configuration questions I had. Great support and product.

> 24 hourI just got the system and havent set it up in its forever home yet. Done testing but thats currently it. Heres what I am going to cover; quality, packaging, overall impression. QUALITY: looks good wish it wasnt white. The camera feel solid and they come highly recommended. The nvr seems well built but its kinda loud. Picture quality its on point AFTER YOU SET IT TO 4K. With the assistance of my 7 year old son I tested all of the cameras in a hallway. Even at 45-50 feet i could see his facial features i believe those features are easily identifiable with and without the night vision on. My biggest complaints. 1. Mouse doesnt work at all. 2. The ethernet cables are junk. Full stop trash. The sheathing is loose some are finished well but then others dont match. the clips are damaged and they dont seem like they would hold up for more then two years if that. Consider this before your crawl into the massive oven box known as the attic. I think they could sell a system without the wires and the crappy non working mouse and lower the price and weight of the system shipped 3. The interface isnt great specially without the mouse. Its hard to tell were you are in the menus and using the directional buttons are a pain. I definitely see this as a quality of life thing that needs alot of improvement. PACKAGING: great packaging everything arrived safe and sound (minus the mouse and them crappy wires) The cameras come in foam and a soft plastic foam bag. The crappy ethernet wires are also wrapped odd but thats not an issue. The recorder was packaged with foam inserts on the edges to keep it centered. The nvr has it own box while the cameras are paired 4 in a box. Overall impression: as stated based off the wires and that stupid mouse i still think this is a pretty good deal. I think for under 1000 for 8 4k night vision cams its a good pick up. Definitely worth knowing that if something happens around your house you have recorded evidence. I cant judge tech support so I didnt give them stars. I hope this doesnt hurt their reviews I cant justify giving 5 stars for something I didnt use. UPDATE: sometimes the nvr seems to go nuts. I will post pictures but it seems like maybe I have a bad nvr? I dont know when it reboots sometimes it has some pretty crazy issues. I will reach out to reolink hopefully they got some answers. I have to knock a star down due to the need to do so in such a short amount of time
