> 3 dayEasy camera setup, good picture quality and good customer service. I had a problem with one of my cameras and they quickly shipped me out a replacement. Plenty of room to add additional cameras. You will probably need to also purchase the junction boxes to mount your camera on depending on your mounting location. Everything can easily be setup right from your phone and can be shared for others to view if you invite them. The audio and night vision is good.

> 3 dayWhile the system is nice… it’s not very friendly user. Comes with NO manual or instructions. Plug and Play is easily done but, pass that your in the dark. Cameras are clear but, not enough when you zoom in. The microphone in the cameras could be better. I wouldn’t buy again.

> 3 dayI installed this 8 camera system with two additional 8K “turret” style Reolink cameras using Cat6 LAN lines on the outside of my house. Since my house is a single story house with a full finished basement built in the early 70’s, I had to run the lines on the outside of the house. This made some lines around 150-feet long, but this was not a factor and all ten cameras work perfectly. The video quality is awesome and it is easy to adjust the settings for each camera. I have the DVR connected directly to my 75” QLED Samsung TV and the video quality is amazing. The camera’s sound quality is so good that I can even hear myself when I am inside the house with my sliding glass doors closed - by cameras outside that are 10-feet away from the sliding glass doors! I also like to sit inside and watch the cameras that show my bird feeders so I can listen to and watch the birds - which I find very relaxing. I will say that the bullet cameras are more easily adjusted than the turret-style cameras. I prefer using the bullet-style cameras on the outside and the turret-style cameras on the inside of your house. Both have the same video quality and cover the same area (87-degrees wide). The bullet cameras are a little easier to adjust if you are wanting to angle the camera to view certain areas. After reading reviews on this system, I learned that the Amazon Basics wireless mouse works just fine with this system - and it DOES indeed! I sit about 15-feet away from my television and can easily use the mouse to control things while viewing. The DVR has two USB inputs and I have the wireless mouse receiver hooked up to the one in front which, of course, is facing me. So be sure to get this wireless mouse when you buy the system - it is only about $12 and well worth the money spent! The motion detection on these cameras is excellent also. Like any video surveillance system, you will have to adjust the settings so that you do not constantly get reports of movement on your phone APP. Things like spider webs hanging on a camera and blowing in the wind, and shadows of things like flags blowing in the wind, can cause alerts, but this is typical of any surveillance motion detection. I have most of my cameras set on very low detection settings because I live in a forested area and only want to pick up larger things - like humans and cars, and not animals. If you need to to detect smaller movement this system has no problem doing that! I did have problems getting the system to connect to email, but that is not a problem to me since I don’t want alerts sent to my email - I would rather be notified on my phone, and the Reolink APP does that very well. If I wanted the email alerts I have no doubt I could figure that problem out easily enough, but again, it is not an issue for me. The Reolink APP works flawlessly on my iPhone and I use it to control the motion detection settings. I also use the APP on my iPad and the video looks great on that also. Playback of stored video is also very easy to do, using either the DVR or the Reolink APP. I plan to ad a few more cameras on the inside the house. I currently have 10 set up outside of the house so I still have room to set up 6 more, which is more than what I will need. This is a very solid security system and I have not had ANY problems at all. All cameras worked the first time I plugged them into the DVR - and this was after I had to learn how to hookup and connect CAT6 LAN lines myself. All cameras also have waterproof connection covers to cover the LAN wire where it connects to the camera outside - and these work great. This is not the first surveillance system I have had, but it is easily the best and the easiest I have ever installed. I am very happy with it and I would highly recommend it to anyone! UPDATE: After 4 months of use, sometimes even in weather as cold as 0-degrees (F), this system has been flawless. I am about to add three Reolink 4K PTZ cameras which cost about $250 each - I would not spend that kind of money if I wasn’t so impressed with the system I bought. I HIGHLY recommend this system!

> 3 dayCamera quality is awesome! I did have an issue with the app, but support quickly got on it, actually had to create a new firmware. However, once they pushed it out, everything working great.

> 3 dayThe picture quality and night vision are good, the the program however, is not very user friendly. We are in the process of installing these cameras and every time we add one to the NVR it ends up in a random position on the grid. We figured out how to move the order around on the monitor we have connected to the NVR, but it doesn’t carry over to the app. What’s even more frustrating, is that from app to app, nothing is in the same order. On the iPad we have to show a grid of 9 just to see the 3 cameras we have installed thus far! And as far as we can tell, there is no way to reorder the cameras within the app. What good is surveilling your property, if you have to jump all around looking for a particular scene? Reolink, please fix this!

> 3 dayThe company that I work for uses these systems at several of their locations. These are the Pros and Cons we have dealt with so far: PROS: 1. Excellent video quality 2. Great motion detection 3. Great night vision 4. Fairly easy to install (plug and play) 5. Neatly packaged with everything you need for an install 6. They have a PC app and a mobile app in which you can view multiple of these devices simultaneously from anywhere. 7. You can setup email and phone alerts for when motion is detected. 8. Fairly easy to use interface. CONS: 1. One of the units we purchased had a bad port on the system which was DOA. (We were able to get a replacement, though.) 2. One of the units has been having issues where it continuously reboots when connected to the internet. Solutions for this problem found online have proven unsuccessful. 3. When using the PC or mobile app, there is no way to log out of one user and into another user without deleting the entire NVR from the app and re-adding it. (This needs to be added) 4. When using the PC or mobile app with multiple NVRs connected, and you are trying to view only one NVR system, the other devices automatically reload/reconnect multiple times, and you have to manually drag each camera over to the view area for the device you want. 5. The record time with the 3TB drive only lasts for about 7-9 days. (This can be extended a bit when turning off continuous recording and turning the quality down or adding another HDD) All-in-all, these are decent systems and work great for the most part. Just make sure to check all of the equipment before installation to verify it is working before installing.
