> 24 hourAfter years of use I dropped 1 star. Though they have great customer service I didnt think Id have to contact them so much. A few cameras (1 from this original order) didnt work but were replaced quickly. Most of the hardware and set up was easy to use. Their software however is really bad. very buggy on the computer and on the phone. Constantly crashes or glitches, loads playback really slowly. EVerything is local so the internet should not be an issue yet they claim its my 1 gigabit connection hooked up with CAT9 heavy duty cables. I already purchased 2 systems and several additional cameras for multiple properties and the ease of set up is excellent. But this weak software has just been so horrendous that I am here changing my review. In 3 years I hope to to upgrade and not downgrade the stars. Original subject and body of review Easy set up, plenty of wires and parts. Image quality is meh for 4K Comes with everything you need and some extra, easy set up and configuration, but the image quality is mehh for 4K HD. I think the regular version cameras are fine to use too.

> 24 hourI bought this system 6 months ago and its reboot twice a day. I e-mail customer service for help and they want me to try different thing everytime to find problems. They want me to run system without hard drive for 48 hr to see what happen. Its means no recording for 48hr in my business. I asked them to replace NVR but they dont do that and systems still under warrenty for 2 year.

> 24 hourOne of the cameras is defective. Amazon wants me to take the rest of the working cameras all down and return it so they can send me 8 brand new cameras. I only need 1 and offered a return and was denied.

> 24 hourIve come to realize that the most informative reviews are often the bad/worst reviews. This is going to be the most accurate depiction of how the company handles itself when, and if there is a problem. Take my advice, Reolink is horrible. I should have paid more attention to the bad reviews in my consideration of this product. It would have saved me time, money, and alot of headaces. I spent a significant amount of time installing this system in a commerical warehouse and in the end- I dont have a system that actually records. Everything functioned except the recording function. I troubleshot everything I could on my own, including reading all the Reolink FAQs and troubleshooting guides. I finally determined that the HDD wasnt functioning and contacted Reolink. Intially they responded and asked me to check a few things that I had already been through. I advised step by step what I had done and they responded that someone in the RGA dept would contact me. That was a few weeks ago and despite multiple follow up emails, no reponse, nada. I have had to scour and find my own parts to the tune of a few hundred dollars. This is unacceptable and if I didnt have some many hours installing and running cable- I would sent this garbage back. The picture is ok, nowhere near 4k despite using HDMI from the NVR to the 4k monitor and extenders on the long runs of cat5e cable. Do yourself a favor, pass on by this company and make another product selection. Its simply not worth the risk.

> 24 hourOverall very happy with this system. Other than running wires (which was a bear) the rest of the setup was easy. After connecting everything the system was up and running in seconds and I was able to see 360 around my house. The day quality is quite good and night-vision is OK, but good enough for my needs. I am out in the woods with no ambient street lighting so its quite dark. The AI is hit and miss. 99% of the time I get the correct motion alarms. Sometimes it misses and sometimes I get a false positive, but Im still working on it. All in all for the one stop shop, relative cost, easy set up and quality of images, I am very happy. It works. As far as tech support ... there is no manual and they really need one. There are a lot of settings and no real single place to find out what they all are and how to se them. It took a lot of search engine research to figure them out. At least as of right now, I would buy it again.

> 24 hourUPDATE- The NVR failed and a camera too after 75 days of purchase. Had to pay for return shipping and though Reolink helped me replace the product, the return shipping costs were too exorbitant. Quality control in the product can be much better. The package arrived on time in a single large box. Inside the box there were three rectangular and smaller boxes - two with the cameras and accessories like(cat 5 cables, screws, stickers) and the third one with the NVR and it’s power brick. Feedback to note here is that the Cat5 cables included are very poor quality and not worth it. Ended up using my own Cat6 cables. IP/PoE Cameras: The picture quality is great during day time. Very clear. Night vision with Infrared was not great. Very mediocre. You can improve the camera capability in night mode by adding ambient lighting to your property. Note: Out of the 8 cameras I received one was dead in a few hours. Poor quality control I guess. NVR/Video Recorder: Comes with a power supply brick that is enough to build a home. Large, bulky and poor quality from a make and feel as well. The NVR is powered by a Seagate disk of 3 TB. Works well but you can hear the MVR heat dissipation fan running in the background. Not quiet by any means. Product Support: Reached out to them to get a product replacement for a camera which was dead. Received an email fairly quickly but am still awaiting next steps on replacement etc. Will update this review based on what goes next. Still within my return window, so will return this if the support is not making the on their two year warranty. Conclusion: Good camera quality during the day. Build quality and service support - not up to standards. If you are on a budget go for it, else recommend scaling up to better products.
