poe is the way to go when installing a security system. I installed 6 cameras. The 3tb hd records 5 days in 4k with 6 cam. Great quality cameras. I strongly recconend.

I use these cameras for my business and they are very good for the value, setting up and accessing the cameras anywhere in the world through their app is super convenient. These cameras have been exposed to snow, sleet rain and very cold temperatures (Virgina) and have not noticed any deficiencies or issues. I ended up using my own CAT5 cable meant for exterior use which is little bit more sturdier than the cables provided. If youre going to use the cameras indoors or outdoors I believe the cables that come with the kit will do just fine, I went above and beyond because i didnt want to rerun wires down the road especially on some of the cameras due to the height i placed them at.

Installed this with Orbi mesh router and satellites- using POE hubs attached to satellites. Once cameras placed and connected to POE hub attached to mesh satellite- camera auto configured on the NVR. Very happy with this unit

Plug and play. Hook it up to my TV with HDMI, connect camera with provided ethernet cable, hook up power, hook up provided USB mouse, turn on, and follow instructions. This seems to be a easy to use system and a good value when I got it $200 off for black friday. I havent hooked it up to the internet yet for backup.

I am on the third Reolink dvr under warranty and it just died. It seems the HDMI output keeps failing. I will not send this unit back for warranty after jumping through many hoops, Reolink support having me troubleshoot their defective product for them before they will cover the warranty. And by the way to send the DVR back to them costs $25.00 to ship USPS. They did offer to split the cost of a return once though. They also sent me a warranty camera, which they used as leverage to get me to pay the cost of returning the bad dvr. I am now shopping for a more reliable system with support in this country and on our time of day. you see when it is day here it is night in Riolink land and every communication takes twice as long. Good luck to you if you buy a Riolink system.

Hardware is low quality. 2 of the 3 cameras we unboxed were rendered useless, as the mounts were broken due to poor engineering. Returned the item and was charged a $150 restocking fee. Recommend you look elsewhere.

why is there flaslight beams going thru 2 of 4 cameras? cause thr nite vision is junk,i will not set all 8 up untill i get a asap responce. ps YOU CANT SEE FACES OR LICENCE PLATES AS STATED IN THR SALES GIMMICK THE NITE VISION IS JUNK...REMEDY THE ISSUE ASAP OR AMAZON CAN HAVE IT BACK N IL BE GETN MY 1000 BACK FOR THIS KINDA MONEY MAYB CHINA COULD PUT OUT A RELIABLE SURVIELENCE KIT ..NOT HAPPY AT ALL
