> 3 dayThe cabling provided was very cheap (didnt use it and went to a commercial grade of Cat6 cable instead). The instructions are useless (maybe they should just put a notice to watch YouTube or go to their website). I am still working out installation issues, but that has nothing to do with the wired product purchased. The clarity is fine, but the night vision is weak, would recommend spending the extra and getting the color vision night lights; there are mini flood lights built in. The two way talk is another feature with a camera that I would purchase separately. The interface to my computer works well, but have issues with remote or wifi connection to a laptop (still trying to trouble shot that one, only get the first camera feed, nothing from the others). For any system to work well (or as expected by the end user), you have to do a lot of planning and presetting of cameras. I used temporary clamp mounts and a tripod to see if what is desired is the right location. The angle of view on the cameras is a little narrow (it really isnt wide angle, but you can buy a separate type of camera if that is you desire). I havent actually tried tech support, so everything on-line seems to be good. So this is the fourth day of my installation. Im old, 71, and getting up and down a ladder and into the attic space is a challenge. There are some setup functions that must really be done at the NVR. Some I can modify or change at the computer (which doesnt seem to make sense to me, but Im working on that). I think that 4 stars is a good, fair judgement.

> 3 dayI bought this system 6 months ago and its reboot twice a day. I e-mail customer service for help and they want me to try different thing everytime to find problems. They want me to run system without hard drive for 48 hr to see what happen. Its means no recording for 48hr in my business. I asked them to replace NVR but they dont do that and systems still under warrenty for 2 year.

Greater than one weekIf you are looking a great security system. Look no further. This is a great system. Very easy to work with and very easy to setup. I have done many different cameras but this by far is the best.

> 3 dayEasy camera setup, good picture quality and good customer service. I had a problem with one of my cameras and they quickly shipped me out a replacement. Plenty of room to add additional cameras. You will probably need to also purchase the junction boxes to mount your camera on depending on your mounting location. Everything can easily be setup right from your phone and can be shared for others to view if you invite them. The audio and night vision is good.

> 3 dayJune 26th Update: After speaking with customer service over email, they agreed to help with the broken camera situation and sent another one aslong as I sent in the broken camera. The customer service over email was very cooperative. Overall I recommend buying these cameras, since the company is helpful if something were to happen to the cameras. Original Review: I bought these cameras in late April and they worked fine the first few weeks. Setting them up was pretty easy and the UI on computer isnt the best but it works. Im giving these cameras a 1 star because after 3 weeks one of the cameras was turning off and on by itself struggling to stay on. I changed the cable that was connected to it and even swapped out which port it was connected to, but it did absolutely nothing. The camera continued to struggle for another 2 or 3 weeks and just stopped working. I called their customer support and the worker was pretty rude after I explained the entire broken camera situation. He then told me to email their customer support and theyll solve the camera issue. Ive emailed their customer support and am still waiting for a reply. After paying nearly $900 for these cameras, Im very disappointed with these cameras as well as their customer support. Ill update this review after I hear back from them.

Greater than one week[Revised Review] Wanted to provided and update. Reolink support connected me via email to address the concerns with the overall quality of the unit. First, I want to say I am pleasantly surprised with their wiliness to work to quickly resolved the update issues with the second unit I received. Specifically; o) overall lock and feel of the software is greatly improved over the old version. Setup is improved, the snappiness of the software is noticeably better, and over all software is significantly better quality [bonus points] o) Upgrade issues: According to support, the tech I worked, the versioning information provide was not clear. The new tech help sort it out and they were able to provide me with an update to fix the issue. o) The fix also provide HTML5 support (replacement of flash)! (bonus points) o) Black screen on web preview - seems to be a Flash compatibility - fixed as new version supports HTML5 o) No clear mode support for web access due to browser cannot support H.265. All in all, while the process has not been smooth the fact that Reolink stepped up, and supported their product goes a LONG way. So be sure to update the firmware when new version is generally available!!!! [Original Review] I did my research and ended up with the RLN16-410 as it has the 8MP cameras. Reviews looked better than average, so I ordered one. 1) First unit constantly rebooted over and over and over and... Reached out to Amazon support, we tried all the steps but no luck. They suggested I contact the Reolink support. So I did, and after a days of no where, I just decided to just exchange it. No so fast... I ended up having to return it because, apparently, when you send email asking for tech support, they (Amazon) block you from and exchange. OK so I returned it (and STILL waiting for a refund) 2) Second unit arrived – good news is, it does not have the reboot issue, but will not take and upgrade PAK file. Reolink support said the latest software for the RLN16-410 was not compatible with my hardware version. This might not be such a big deal except: o) The device uses Flash Player which Adobe dropping Dec 31st and Windows has disabled by default o) While the screen on the monitor show the camera fine, using the network show a black screen. Its likely a flash issue, but as noted Adobe has dropped support o) Reolink support says a new update for the version of the RLN16-410 is planned, but they did not provide a date other than this year 3) The overall quality of the software poor ( Cancle should be spelled Cancel), portal is clunky and feels like it was developed in 1990. Even simple things like Setup and upgrade as been an extremally painful experience. Which is a shame as the video quality is nice and clear. Honestly you seem to have a great looking product, and nice features, but the QC process is severely lacking based on my (limited) experience. So to sum it up - hoping the future software update improves the usability. If it does, I will update my review. [It does, review updated to reflect this]
