SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM)

perfect upgrade for my dying macbook pro mid 2010.

The SSD is fine, but the installation software DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS 10. The Samsung software doesnt even recognize the Samsung SSD. With help from a third party application (EaseUS Todo Backup) I was able to clone my existing laptop HDD to the SSD. The SSD is now installed and running in the laptop. And YES, it makes the machine real quick. In fact, my laptop now makes my desktop feel sluggish. It was a lot of work hunting up free cloning software that worked with Win 10. No more Samsung SSDs for me until Samsung gets their installation software working with Win 10 (and that means both the Samsung Magician and Samsung Data Migration tools).

A quality product that Performs as promised. No complaints.

Used as my backup shadow copy drive for my 850 Pro. Works well so far. Now if only they would fix the Magician software.

I put a Samsung 850 EVO 250Gb in the main drive of a Toshiba C55 and Asus F555LA. I wanted a couple of inexpensive laptops for the family, but also wanted a faster start up and app loading time. I used an Orico to move the original drives to the optical drive bay and now I have 2 inexpensive laptops that startup faster than my smartphone AND have plenty of storage space. The only issue I had was removing the system restore partitions loaded on the original HDD, I had to do this using DOS prompt. Samsungs data transfer and disk management software made it easy to clone the drives and optimize them. You will need a USB to SATA adapter cable as these are just the drives not a kit After using a SSD drive in a laptop, I will NEVER go without one!

great speed improvement over old tired laptop drive. software to copy data/programs work awesome.

My 2011 iMac is blazing now! Pulled out the old optical drive and use my internal drive as storage with the OS on this bad boy. Its like a whole new computer. With this SSD, you can completely save a dying or aging laptop at a really reasonable price

good , works fine, need some basic instruction something short and large enough to be able to read (millions of Americans use reading glasses)

This SSD is super. Performs flawlessly in my 2009 MacBook Pro.
