SAMSUNG 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM)

I have built a fairly decent gaming PC about a year ago and went a little cheap on my hard drive, running a 1TB 7500RPM HDD, after installing the new Samsung solid state, which was a breeze just make sure you get the transfer cord with it which is not included, my PC was a rocket, HUGE difference right away I love this thing, 2 weeks in, 0 issues, 0 lag, 100% love it.

One of the best purchases i made this year! A huge upgrade for a 2009 macbook pro. It now runs better than the day i bought it!

Used as my backup shadow copy drive for my 850 Pro. Works well so far. Now if only they would fix the Magician software.

Converted it to my primary drive and made the HDD into my secondary and saved hundreds by doing it myself. The drive has made my computer more responsive and quick. My my low end laptop into a 1K PC. Ive had it over a year now.

I replaced the HDD in my 2011 iMac with this SSD, and the increase in performance was nothing short of breathtaking. I have used Samsung SSDs in other computers as well, and I have never had a problem. Highly recommended.

Fast. Quiet. Great as page file, browser caches, and other temporary-like files.

I got this for my first build and really like it. It was easy to install and I go from powered off to desktop in about ten seconds or so (of course, thats new components, fresh OS, etc.).

Working good on Ubuntu 16.4 with a Dell Latitude E5270. Installation was simple. You will need basic computer skills to remove and replace the old spinning HDD. YouTube is your friend here. I did a fresh install, so no not need to clone an old drive. Laptop is super quiet without a spinning drive. Ill update this review if I have problems. 6 Month Update: No issues. Drive is doing well.

Great ssd

After comparing reviews on various SSDs in the market, Samsung 850 Evo tops with the value, performance and reliability. Lesson learned that the best ssd comes from the manufacturers who made the flash memory and controller in-house and Samsung was one of them. Upgrading from a Hitachi 500GB 5400rpm Hdd + 24GB Sandisk U100 Ssd Hybrid on my Asus S46CB, all I can say is that Hdd days are numbered. This thing is fast!!!
