Yes. Dont think about it. Just buy it. My boot time went from 1-3 minutes to loaded in under 10. Highly advise picking this up. The overall usability can not be any better at least in my opinion!

Excellent speed, reduced battlefield loading times in Total War: Warhammer 2 from 1+ minutes to 20ish seconds. The controller chip gets way too hot to touch and needs active cooling in my opinion. I dont think those heat spreaders will keep it cool enough to maintain the high transfer speeds if you primarily water cool your system. And old northbridge heatsink and fan does the trick nicely.

Ill make this short and sweet. I purchased the 1TB version of this drive, and installed it on a B550 ITX board, and it has given me literally 0 issues. Considering Windows 10 installed from a USB 2.0 flash drive, and from start to finish (desktop after account creation) it took no more than 15 minutes, if that. Installing apps, running games, using the storage for various tasks, there are no hiccups or hangs. I understand now what all of the fuss about Samsung drives is.

There is nothing wrong with the product. But you would think that a multi Billion $ Company could afford to include the one penny screw to mount it with this idem. Samsung you are sooooooooooooo very cheap. Also ALL the computer companies that sell there computers with a mounding stud but no screw. Dell, my new computer, H-p, and all the other ones you are also soooooooooo very cheap.

It has a great performance, but mostly on benchmarks. While booting windows o loading a game, times are not different from my 240Gb ssd. The main peformance gains are while loading or copying heavy files, benefitinig productivity-oriented users.

Used this on my old Z87 Pro motherboard with an m2 pci express adapter. It required some effort in that the old motherboard didnt support booting to an m.2 drive and so needed to flash a modded bios on it, but after that and turning some setting off, I was able to use it as a boot drive. Using Samsung Magician to test, it had (seq) read of 3,168 MB/s and write of 2,392 MB/s
