The only issue inatalling it was a laptop one. This thing is fast. I cam game from it no problem and the space is worth it. It came in hreat condition and I havent had any issues so far.

My first M.2 this blew my mind how fast it is.

I love these things. Its hard not to give these drives 5 stars: they are fast, easy to install, dont take up any space, dont require any running of cables, they dont generate any noise, and they are getting more affordable by the day. I purchased this to install the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 to really speed up those load times and hopefully provide the best gaming experience. Obviously the game isnt out for a few more days so I will update my review if anything bad happens, which I do no anticipate.

faster then a standard SSD but most wont notice. its very hard to push this ssd to the limit under normal operations as most other devices and storage devices cant match its speed and are limited to the speed of the other storage device (for data transfer etc) but i run my os and most my games on it and its hitch-less and silly fast. worth every penny! opening of most games from the launcher to the game as well as programs is about 1 second. only time it takes longer is when the game pulls up and the computer has not received the information from the game server. windows boot up from complete power off to up and running (windows 10 home) is about 5 seconds. wicked fast!

It is a good product

Added this to an existing system that has a 500gb 960 evo as the main drive. The average consumer won’t notice the increased speeds over the 960 but for being a better product at a lower price than a 1tb 960 it was a no brainer. It’s an NVMe you know what you’re getting. Is it pricey? Yes but both of these drives will probably last through 2 upgrades and by then we’ll have a new technology that makes these things look like HDDs.
