I upgraded my primary128GB intel P600 with Samsung 970 EVO 500GB SSD in my desktop. Installation was easy and rebooting and reinstallation of windows 10 was smooth. It runs faster than intel P600 and has cut a few seconds from my boot time. I highly recommend it.

I wanted to get EVO 970 PLUS but i accident got the 970 (not PLUS) due Amazon promotion so i keep it. Of course Samsung SSD is the best. See my photo, cant even tell the difference with PLUS.

Boot times are super fast and little to no wait on games!

I cant go into all the specified speeds that a lot of people can on here, but I can say, that my load times are great. I did run into a hiccup on install, for some reason, I had to do an extra step for my MOBO to recognize it as an M.2. That took an extra 5 minutes of problem solving, but not enough to deduct a star. I will be buying a bigger one in the future.

I wanted to use this drive as my BCD boot drive but that almost seems impossible at this point. Its very difficult to migrate a current C drive and change the primary drive to one that has just been installed. But overall the drive works fine and I would highly recommend it

It is pretty fast, it reduced boot time to a mere 10 seconds *(average, maybe less sometimes). It gets pretty hot though , even with the heatsink the MoBo provides.

This worked great, after installation. Please keep in mind that write cashing needs to be enable for maximum performance. Also Samsung Magician and Samsung Hard drive cloning software are free with purchase, so dont buy addition software. Just download the freeware from Samsung, it works well and was easy to use. Im very happy.

Bought this NVME SSD because its single layer. Installed and reinstalled the operating system. All fast and good
