The 128 Gb original drive was totally inadequate, so I needed to upgrade. I picked the EVO by reading reviews and the value combination of size, speed and price. I am very pleased with the outcome. My boot time is 12 sec. The only issue I had was cloning the original to the EVO. The cloning software partitioned the EVO for the 128 Gb and made the remainder an unassigned partition that I could not meld with the 128 Gb partition. I needed to use the AOMEI partition assistant to resolve. Now it is good to go, have been using for 3 weeks, no issues.

Easy to install was picked up immediately by pc. Killed loadtimes in everything after moving over os and placed my larger games there cutting some in more than half.

I have used many SSD drives over the years and Samsung makes the most consistent drive you can buy. The best mix of speed, reliability and quality for the money.

Added a second to my ASRock Tiachi x570 to try Ubuntu Linux. Ive been a long time user of Fedora, but wanted to see how Steam ran on their reference platform. Turns out it does run better. Was hoping to use ZFS root but it was not supported on the lastest Kubuntu installer.

I bought this item for 2 years, and this ssd still worked, Samsung makes a good product as he always does, its good for every gamer

Was rather scary to install but in the end it works great adnm is amazingly fast
