> 3 dayI absolutely love this SSD. I upgraded from a 960 EVO 1TB SSD. Im able to have all my storage in a single, speedy unit. Very convenient, and noticeably fast for booting up, copying files, video editing, music production (e.g. loading large sample libraries). This SSD is super fast.

> 3 daySuch a great product, I’d had multiple issues with an external SSD so I decided to upgrade to this, and goodness gracious was it worth it. It’s faster than the other M.2 that came with the laptop, just so great and totally worth it.

> 3 dayI mean, do we really need a review on the 970 evo?

> 3 dayI tried using the Samsung support option to install this SSD into my laptop and found that the software that is on Samsungs website does not recognize the SSD as being from Samsung. Therefore I had to do several work arounds including downloading freeware in order to clone the original drive to facilitate the install. Shame on Samsung.

> 3 dayThis SSD drive has really improved the startup speed and general responsiveness of my new HP Pavilion system (I bought a low-end gaming system as a Prime Day special that only had a spinning drive). My biggest complaint is that it did not come with a mounting screw, and none was provided by the manufacturer -- it took me some time and effort to find a screw in my parts bin that would fit. I also had to find and download all the installation software -- only very rudimentary instructions were provided.

> 3 dayPrice/performance, Samsung is unbeatable for SSDs. Zeros issues installing, and have had the expected performance. (be aware if still running Windows 7, as it has no default M.2 drivers, so its work installing OS directly to the drive.) I would still recommend Samsungs 2.5 SSDs due to their much lower price, but if you want speed, look no further.

Greater than one weekThis is a true speed-up for iMacs (and others). This gives me up to 770MB/s from 40MB/s for a normal SATA disk. A bliss.
