Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I installed this in an old i3-2400 Compaq (12g ram) to replace a working 7200 HDD 250gb drive. This SSD really heled speed up the feel of this computer. Apps open up faster and the PC is more responsive. $40 bucks well spent .

My 5 year old desktop was super slow. Hard drive was bogging down the computer, would take 5 mins to boot up and then the hard drive would operate at 100% quite often. Installed new SD drive and it is like a brand new - fast computer. I had contemplated dumping my computer but the hard drive did the trick. I was worried about install of the hard drive - that part was easy. The windows install was a bit tricky. Look up on google - I had some hung up on install but after a got a error message, looked that up and found a fix - not sure I can duplicate it but it worked - just be patient.

I purchased this to replace my Mac mini 2014 500gb HDD with this, and with some help from SUPERDUPER! to clone the drive, I am up and running in 30 min. The apps load instantly and boot has dramatically improved.

Got this for my laptop, had to look up a couple of YouTube videos to see out to install it. As long as you have the right tools it’s really easy. As for the SSD itself, it completely changed my laptop’s performance; faster than ever before.

I installed it and replace my old 1 TB drive. It feels like i have a new laptop well worth the upgrade

Great drive, I have a 1tb and a 250gb version in my pc and its great. I boot up windows in seconds and games that took ages to load on my hard drive now load in about 5-20 seconds.

Just upgraded from a sanddisk 500gb SSD to this as it was on sale and it works great, it seams just as fast as the sanddisk and now I’m running off a 1tb SSD. No complaints here

I put this in my old HP laptop and turned it into a hotrod! Amazing how mechanical drives slow things down. I was thinking I had software issues. Boot time is 10 seconds. Internet comes up in 5.

Were using a pair of these to capture video via a Blackmagic Hyperdeck Studio. While they arent on Blackmagics approved devices list, their specs were identical to other (more expensive) Samsung SDDs on the list. Turns out they work great!

And easy to install with the migration software. Very fast - breathes new life into a Mac.
