Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Im not much of a techie and I was nervous about attempting this. The cloning software seemed to keep freezing up and then recover and make a little more progress. I was patient and let it plod along. It ran about seven or more hours when I left it to run overnight. In the morning it was 100% complete. I shut down my pc, swapped the drives, and restarted. Other than being amazingly fast, the pc started like it never knew it had a major organ transplant.

My laptop had a 5400RPM HD that was a few years old, and it kept getting slower and slower even with doing a fresh install of windows. With thinking the HD was starting to go out I replaced it with this hard drive and cloned my old hard drive with the Samsung software. After about 3 hours I feel like I have a complete new laptop! It is shocking how much faster it is. It is so quite now too. If you know how to swap a HD I would recommend you do this upgrade if you have a older type HD.

It used to be that adding RAM was the easiest and cheapest way to speed up a slow computer. That never addressed the real bottleneck of a computer, which is the hard drive. I had a customer complaining that they probably needed a new computer even though theirs was only a little over a year old. Knowing that they had a standard platter-style hard drive, I suggested this. Boy is she glad that I did! Saved her hundreds of dollars on a new computer and likely thousands on lost time waiting for her computer to compute as her entire business relies on her computer to make her money.

There is a way to tell the Raspberry PI 3 B+ not sure of any others to boot from a USB drive.

Recommended by other gamers to improve gameplay loading times and graphic rendering. It does not come with a usb cable to connect to Xbox one console so you have to buy it separately. I use it for my OG Xbox One console. It has made my game, Black Desert Online, less laggy when rendering and loads much faster than before.

3/28/2019 Review for 250GB: My hard drive are slow to load and now it run faster with SSD. I use hard drive caddy to install 2nd drive to use SSD. SATA 3 full speed with caddy. I have no problem to install on my laptop. You must wipe your hard drive before you can boot into SSD with caddy. And it worked perfectly for HP Laptop 15. I am very pleased.

My 2012 Macbook pro was being super slow and I was about to get a new computer. But I found out you could replace the Harddrive with a SSD and it would be faster. I looked up info on how to do this for my laptop, got this recommended SSD, and installed it by watching Youtube videos. Did a clean install of a OS and it works like a new laptop! I am so happy with myself and this SSD.

Was going to get the 500GB and use a 3TB HDD. Decided to upgrade to the 2TB ssd and ditch the HDD. The ssd is awesome and I couldn’t be happier
