Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Weve bought dozens of Samsung SSDs for our department and even our oldest ones have yet to have any issues. In contrast we have only a dozen or so Intel SSDs and 1/4th of them have bad blocks.

I bought this 4TB Samsung SSD drive because Ive had great luck with their products. I currently own seven of their SSD drives, an M.2 SSD module, and a Samsung J7 phone. I havent had a failure of any Samsung product yet. This 4TB SSD works fine...and currently, Im getting 562 MB/s read and 531 MB/s write speeds.

This was an open box item at a good price of $60. Has the 5-year warranty and registered with samsung online. Works so much faster than any fusion drive or HDD even the 7200rpms one. Computer runs cool, fast. Never going back to the spinning platters.

This unit replaced one of the same model but of a smaller capacity that I had been using for two years with excellent results. Free cloning software is available from Samsung and other sources with makes that step a breeze. Then you just pop it in. (You will need to buy a bracket to hold this size disk it your case doesn’t include one.)

Used for a custom Gaming PC that also has a 1TB M.2 NVME and 2TB HDD for different storage needs.

So far so good. Swapped out all my old hdds for four of these and used my old ssd for the ram hotswap space. The speed difference is night and day but its like comparing a 90s TV to an 8k TV. The Samsung Magician software is the real reason I got them over other brands.
