Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I have purchased several of these Samsung SSDs to replace aging mechanical drives in some computers. So far they have provided flawless service and have shown a significant increase in over all speed and boot time. Samsungs Data Migration software makes mirroring your old drive fast and easy should you choose to do so. I definitely will be buying more of these to replace some older drives in the future.

Used to replace a 5400 RPM, 1 TB HDD in a Mac Mini that seemed to take forever to boot up. Now my Mac Mini is comparable in speed to my MacBook Pro. Hopefully the prices will continue to drop as more drives become available

I used Macrium Reflect 7 to clone my old HD and the Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD worked great without any problems. It has been functioning well in my Gateway SX2803.

Had an issue with a disk failure and BSOD but i managed to fix it.

Good fast drive for backup storage. Had a 840 evo for several years and it’s still working fine as my main C drive.

Its one of the best (SATA) SSDs on the market, and with 500GBs of space, I have more than I need - for a great price. Sure, you could get more from an NVME drive, but those come at a premium. Unless it dies on me unexpectedly, I have zero complaints.

I was having issues with my hard drive causing a speed bottleneck in Windows 10, and after installing this SSD and installing Windows on it, it makes me wish I had bought one a long time ago. It makes Linux (on another hard drive) feel sluggish by comparison.

I got the samsung 860 evo on sale for a great price, got in two days with prime.i would buy it agian and see what it can do in a RAID config..
