> 3 dayAn SSD is supposed to be so much faster than a standard HD drive. It seems a bit faster but I dont notice much difference when compared to a standard drive at 7200rpm. Since the price is almost 4 times a standard drive, Id say not worth it. The kicker is when the tech said they last about as long as a standard drive, about 5 years with frequent use. Plus you need a special bracket which adds to the cost.

> 3 dayThis was a great value when I purchased it, however, now it would be best to look around for an nvme m.2 drive for not much more money. This drive has sequential reads and writes of around 500 MBps. Also, I skimped on the storage capacity and ended up having to upgrade later on, let me tell you that having one drive is easier than having two. It may be best to spend for the 1TB option if your budget can afford it. All around a decent SSD, it should last you a good while.

> 3 dayThis was a perfect replacement for my sons MacBook Pro 2011. Replaced the old drive with this new SS drive and the boot time went from 1min 30 secs to 24 seconds! Read/Write performance are drastically improved. Super easy to install, there are plenty of videos on how to replace in Macbook Pro 2011 and really brings the laptop up to date. Basically revived a Macbook Pro that I was about sent to recycling into a very usable labtop for a couple more years.
