Plug and play perfect operation formatted using NTSF available storage was 491GB no issues but dont forget to buy a SATA cable if you dont have a spare as I found myself out buying one locally

1tb isnt enough for todays content, but as a dual boot drive it works well.

I wanted to upgrade my laptop with a fast and reliable hard drive. The ssd is the best route to go for fast read/write speeds.

My PC used to have a 2 HDD RAID w/ Raptor drives. I thought that was fast. After those drives went bad (years ago) I settled for a single HDD. Ive put up with it since. Finally, I decided to make an upgrade. At $72 I felt it was a steal for the 500 GB SSD. Wow ... just wow!

This SSD is very fast. The software that came with it to mitigate from the old hard drive works flawlessly. I do IT work and this was by far the easiest to mitigate the data from 1 drive to the next. I didnt experience any data loss and it even kept my remapping of the system folders to my secondary drive.

Works as intended. I upgraded from HDD to this SDD and it made my 5 year old laptop faster. My laptop boots up in 25 seconds now vs. 2 1/2 minutes. Worth it.

... for upgrading a laptop with HD only when new. Went right in, faster than hell! Turns a middle of the road laptop into a very quick one, excellent for just about anything one would use a laptop for.
