> 3 dayFollowed directions on package as I never changed one out before. Was fairly simple to install. Speed is awesome, not even comparable to old one. Will definitely purchase again for my laptop!

> 3 dayFeels solid. Used it to replace an 8 year old disk drive. I liked it so much I bought another to use for backups since my computer could handle 2 internal drives.

> 3 dayBought it to replace a 250GB 850 which was then used to resurrect an old laptop. There were no surprises whatsoever, its basically the same drive but larger.

> 3 dayHaving been very late to the party on the switch from mechanical to solid-state, Ive found myself enlightened to the idea that disk access doesnt need to be slow, especially given the lethargic bloat of Windows 10.

> 3 dayInstalled it in les than half hour, cloned my original drive first. Note you will need to buy an USB to Sata connector, $7 on Amazon to clone your old drive. Free software out there that will help you clone it. Drive is very fast and improved load time and performance on a 5 year old hp pavilion.

> 3 dayI have a 6-year-old laptop I bought in December 2012 (an HP Pavilion with a Core i5-3210M, 8GB RAM, NVDIA graphics with 2GB memory, and a 750GB HDD that was about 25GB from being full, which was probably the root of most of my performance problems). It was never screaming fast, but it has been a nice little workhorse that has allowed me to edit photos and video and be productive with MS Office for several years.

Greater than one weekMy original HDD was running at only 5400RPM which made it even slower. The MOST difficult part of the change was getting the case open. After removing all the visable screws and the ones under the rubber feet the case still wouldnt open. I had to use a thin steel blade ( they recommend plastic but I didnt have one) and SLOWLY pry the case apart at the seam. This went slowly and you just have to keep going. Lots of plastic squeeks. The SSD change went very quickly. Putting it back together is again a verySLOW methodical process. The pieces fit together by snapping the pieces together. The SSD works GREAT. I went to the Samsung site and downloaded Samsung Magician and followed the instructions, easy and it worked flawlessly. Very much worth the time. It is very possible to do, just take your time.
