> 3 dayi sent this back, not because it did not work. The USB-c hub with internal bay did not work. The drive would not mount in my mini mac m1. However, it was not the drive, it was the hub. No lights came on as they should have for the usb hub. The hub was dead on arrival. therefore the drive was not working. I think I should mark 1 start but it was not the HD. I did get a different usb hub and a 2tb drive which is similar to the 1tb and it is working fine.

> 3 daySo Far, works good. A small problem formatting to 4GB in 64 Bit Windows 10. But with help, got it working with all 4GB. Only 1 month old but works and is fast. A little pricey but Amazon allows for several months payout with no interest. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AMAZON!

Greater than one weekBeen using this for a while now. As the headline states it is essential for performance. A small part of the plastic sata power broke on mine, but this did not impact the usability of the drive.

> 3 dayThis baby is FAST! I found the process of installing and getting it working alongside my existing HDD rather tedious, but having done the job, I probably will be able to use this older (late 2012) mini for some time to come. Well worth the cost and effort to get the task done.

> 3 dayIve been using Samsung SSD drives for years. Ive found them fast and dependable. They come with excellent software to migrate your old data to your new SSD and monitor the health of the drive. Ive bought at least 7 drives over the years and no failure yet.

> 3 dayGot the 1tb version for my new boot drive. Installed Windows, everything was running smooth, until it went to sleep. Upon trying to wake, blue screen of death. Went into BIOS, did all of the recommended troubleshooting, still had the same issue. The drive also causes the fatal freeze upon going from BIOS to Windows, it seems the only way I can get it to work properly is start the system from off and load up Windows. If it sleeps it dies. Reinstalled Windows twice, used different SATA cables, even tried it on a different Motherboard with a different CPU, no dice.
