Good product to good price

Beat my expectations...fast and reasonably priced.

I never would have guessed an entire terabyte of SSD storage would ever get this cheap. Lets me store all my files on fast storage.

Works great, I honestly really enjoy it. The only thing i would suggest is having an installation guide. It took me a bit to get things installed the proper way. The package comes together with a short and brief instruction guide but its not clear in some area.

I had it installed for me by a computer tech, but everything is great so Im glad I bought this particular product.

For a while there I had my PC booting up with my old 1TB Hitachi drive from 2009 that I recycled practically. Once I put the 850 EVO in behold I was booting in like 10-15 Seconds if even that. Games that I put on the drive render and load in quicker then ever! Copying data is quicker as well, Id say this is definitely a good product, Id say go for the 1TB if you want loads of storage, if not get the 500GB.

I dont know why there is a battery life rating for this item since AFAIK it doesnt have one. Apart from that its been a very nice improvement to an eight year old laptop. Doubled the size of the disk--was 500GB, now 1TB and it boots up much faster and has no more moving parts--all in one well-priced purchase! Im happy. Now I want to get another one to add to my current laptop ;-)

This 500GB SSD works just fine in my Dell Inspiron 3646......it doesnt test out as fast as it seems to perform in more recent laptops and desktops, about half the speed other users are reporting, but my Inspiron 3646 now boots up in about 40 seconds....WAY faster than it did before.....and, of course, its quieter and runs cooler.

I have a Sony VAIO computer bought in 2012. Excellent machine but over time, both the programs that I usually use and the operating system have been renewing, resulting in a decrease in my computer speed response. After suffering with a slow system, with an inefficient response in my work, I looked for what options could give me a troubleshoot. I thought that changing the RAM would help me and I was about to buy a higher capacity memory, but my son recommended not to do it and that what would really work for me is to change the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) for an SSD (Solid State Dirve ). Fortunately I listened to him and bought the Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E500B / AM) through Amazon and now I see the big difference. My world has become clear. The service was excellent, even in this health crisis Amazon delivered the product before the promised time. Now, no more delays in startup, use of heavy applications, etc ... Amazon and Product 100% recommended.

Purchased this for a five year old HP Envy laptop instead of buying a new one. Cloning was ridiculously easy using Samsungs disk migration software and everything worked as expected. Performance improved beyond my expectations. The hardest part was getting the $#@& bottom off my laptop!
