Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

So far, so good. Just finished swapping out the hard drive on my painfully slow late-2014 Mac Mini with this SSD and I have a whole new computer. The change in speed is simply astonishing. If this continues to work out, Ive saved myself the cost of a new computer. I also purchased the iFixit tool kit and motherboard removal tool. iFixits step by step photo guide on their site was indispensable.

works wonderfully as an external harddrive, would have added internally but didnt have the correct cable length to accomodate. Fast read and write. perfect for backing up important docs.

This is the second SSD I purchased of the same model and make. Earlier I replaced HDD of a 10 year old Sony Vaio which was sitting untouched for the past 4 years for slow performance. Once I replaced the HDD the booting time improved remarkably from 2 and half minutes to just 8 seconds. Now I am using the laptop every day. Coming to the second purchase, last year I purchased a HP laptop with 1-TB HDD in thanks giving sale for my wife. Bought it even after knowing the disadvantage of HDD apparently fooled by the sale price. Same old story repeated, my wife was constantly complaining the slowness of the computer and the complaints reached peak level I wanted to adventure the SDD upgrade as the HP laptop hardware configuration was bit complicated. Luckily with some youtube videos I was able to replace the HDD with this and boom. Guys if you have any laptop with HDD it is not because you dont have the i7 it is purely the hard drive that is killing the performance. Just upgrade it with SDD and you will see the magic. I did lot of research of different makes while deciding the SDD and majority were recommending Samsung EVO. I tried and it did not disappoint me.

I just reviewed a Crucial at this size, no problems yet, but Ive been buying the Samsung EVOs for a few years, never disappointed, use them in computers and HD cameras.

This SSD is of premium quality, shipped it from US to Guyana. I use it as a boot drive as well as storage for games and the experience has been amazing. Would recommend it

What else can be said of a Samsung SSD? It will perform perfectly, my device boots in about 5 second, no temperature issues, high read/write speed... Just buy it!

Samsung drives are the best. The software is also way better than the completion. Makes it very easy to clone the existing drive.
