Greater than one weekI use it as an external boot drive on an iMac 27 late 2013 (since 3 month). I used the EVO 850 before and the computer would crash irregular. Now with this drive I have not had a crash yet. Soon it goes inside the iMac when the kit arrives to open it.

> 3 dayEasy to install. Samsung software really makes the difference here. No need to restart to copy prior drive. Had bought a different brand but their software was horrible so I had to come back to Samsung. What was I thinking.

> 3 dayThis gave new life to my old HP Laptop computer; instead of taking minutes to boot up with Win 10, it now only takes seconds. Highly recommended upgrade!

> 3 dayI now have two of these drives and have had no issues with either. Samsung is a favorite brand of mine and continues to deliver quality products.

> 3 dayReally perked up my older laptop with a 7500 RPM Samsung HD. Cloned the drive in 45 minutes and was up and running within the hour. Much faster boot time and overall speed on everything has increased. Might get another couple of years out of this computer.

> 3 day1. Using the Samsung Data Migration tool made the C: drive to SSD data transfer super easy. Be prepared it took about 12hrs for 800GB.

> 3 dayI ran out of space on the old SSD drive on my Mac Pro 5,1 and wanted known reliability and good performance in the replacement. Although this cost more than the newer QVO drives, there are benefits to the technology in this drive, in that it should wear better (ie: longer lifetime) than the QVO. I actually bought a QVO drive first but discovered a firmware flaw that keeps it from booting correctly in the Mac Pro 5,1. The EVO gives me high performance and dependability, and is arguably a better technology.

Greater than one weekI was about to give up on my laptop, after 7 years it just didnt run the way it used to. I even tried upping the RAM but it didnt helped as much as I hoped. Then I decided to try this SSD. Instructions guide you to download the Data Migration software from Samsungs website. It took about 2 hours to clone my HDD to the SSD. Installation on my Envy was way easy, just take out one screw and bam: hard drive swap. Now my Windows 10 OS boots in about 5 seconds compared to about 60 on my old drive. Super pleased with this swap!
