    I originally went from the normal (terrible) 5400 rpm HDD Drive to buying a Seagate FireCuda Gaming 2TB Solid State Hybrid Drive (Performance SSHD) but the load times on that drive only improved several games by only a few seconds while other games seemed to take longer to load with it.

    Used for Home/business PC. Worked as expected - seems very fast and of course is silent which is sweet. Installed with no issue and the Asus BIOS and WIn10 install found it and installed with no problems.

    Its 1TB, its 2.5, it SATA III, and its fast fast. I replaced the HDD in a new laptop and the drive is really nice. Samsung includes some pretty good software for cloning your existing HDD and Samsung Magician can be downloaded to set up your system to ensure its using all the available resources properly. I recommend a USB to SATA cable I also purchased on Amazon and reviewed.     3rd one of these guys ive bought, and theyve all worked as needed. Used mainly for backup and editing photos/videos. Havent done much 4k, but it seems to work fine. Looking forward to SSDs becoming even more affordable.

    I have a couple of these drives of different sizes. My older one is a 500 GB that is still running solidly after 8 or 9 years of use. This one set up just the same as the other. Plug in the cables and cram it in the case and you are ready to run. Im always on the lookout for these to go on sale because I know they will last a long time.
